Plot Summary: (as told by Greg)
20 years after the end of the Transformers second season, Optimus Prime and the Autobots are preparing to retake Cybertron from Megatron and the Decepticons. Meanwhile, an huge planet named Unicron is heading towards Cybertron to devour it. The Decepticons attack Autobot City on Earth. Optimus Prime and Megatron fight their last battle. In the end, Optimus wins, but lays dying from the battle. He announces an Autobot will rise and use the Matrix to light their darkest hour. That time is now.

It was a generally good movie (at the time it was made) and a good way to continue on the Transformers Second Season. I would give it a B (aka a 3.75 or something like that).

one of the best animated movie i had ever seen...expect for big red's killing which i cried like a little baby :p yeah im one of those kids who kept on yelling during season 3 to bring back Optimus :D hey it worked :cool:

I remeber seeing it in theaters, the main memory is that of grand applause when Starscream bites the dust, or tunrs to dust (wow, that was terribly unoriginal)
