OT: Avatar Question

Okay, forgive me if this is in the wrong forum, but how do I get an avatar under my user name?

Also, how do I get a rank?

You need ten posts to get an avatar.

Also by rank, I'm guessing you mean the text underneath the avatar - anyway, you gotta wait ten days before you're able to change that. Once ten days have passed, go to your control panel and then go to "Edit Profile." You'll see the option "Custom User Text" somewhere on that page. Type in what you want, then submit the changes. Voila! :)

the avatar part is more difficult...

short form:

do a search for 'upload' - should get you there (if you are not familiar with image editing, you will be...)
