BURBANK, CA (September 28, 2001) - On Saturday, September 22, Kids' WB! continued to build momentum for its season premiere tomorrow by topping the Saturday morning competition, including cable, to rank #1 among Boys 2-11 (5.0/21) and Boys 6-11 (6.0/27). The network ranked #1 among the broadcast competition in Kids 2-11 (3.5/16), Kids 6-11 (4.1/19) and Girls 2-11
(2.0/10). Among Kids 2-11, Kids' WB! outperformed ABC (1.7/9), CBS (1.7/8) and Fox Kids (1.6/7). Kids' WB! will launch its 2001-2002 diverse and innovative schedule on Saturday, September 29 (8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. ET).
For the morning, Pokemon: Johto League Champions, in its special 10:30 a.m. ET time period, dominated all competition, including cable, to rank as the #1 program among Kids 6-11 (5.6/23), Boys 2-11 (6.7/23) and Kids 2-11 (4.9/19), tying Nickelodeon's "Spongebob: Square Pants" (4.9/21). The anime-adventure series also ranked as the #2 program in Boys 6-11 (7.6/30). At 10:00 a.m. ET, Pokemon: Johto League Champions, ranked as the #2 program for the morning among all competition in Kids 6-11 (5.4/23) and Boys 2-11 (6.6/24), and finished as the #1 program among Boys 6-11 (7.8/32).
Jackie Chan Adventures, in its 9:30 a.m. ET bonus airing, ranked as the #3 broadcast program for the morning among Kids 2-11 (4.2/17), Kids 6-11 (5.0/21), Boys 2-11 (5.6/20) and Boys 6-11 (6.8/27). In its 9:00 a.m. ET time period, the comedy-adventure series Jackie Chan Adventures won among all competition, including cable, in Boys 2-11 (5.5/21), Boys 6-11 (6.6/28) and Kids 6-11 (4.4/20), tying Nickelodeon's "Rugrats" (4.4/19), and ranked #1 among its time period broadcast competition in Kids 2-11 (3.6/15).
