I saw the commercial earlier..

real wierd marketing ploy with wario hiding... and the graphics pretty much looked good if briefly shown...

I guess it took wario a long time to get his own 3d..

you think that's worth getting?

I dont think it would be a really good game. like you said though they have pretty good marketing and the game looks like one of those games that you really love for a week or two and then u only play it in pulses like once every few months. If you're looking for a good RPA game get Golden Sun 1 and Golden Sun 2 for the GBA system they're pretty fun and they take some thinking at times.

First off--WindSeer17, does your font need to be so big? Try lowering it to normal level...

Second--I heard the game was really fun and clever at times, but was relatively short. I highly doubt it's the Best 'cube game ever, I doubt The Wind Waker and/or Metroid Prime will let it take that crown away from them. :)

I do still plan on getting it though--looks like a fun platformer.

Here's an idea. I really can't use the hand gestures I want because of internet constraints so just imagine them.

How about we don't call a topic "(Insert Title Here): Best (Insert System Here) Game Ever?" UNLESS WE HAVE PLAYED THE DAMN GAME AND ARE MAKING SOME SORT OF SUPPORT FOR THAT SYSTEM!!!

"Well, how 'bout you come up with a title, Mr. Know it All, since it's obviously YOUR forum, you limey bas..set hound". Fine. Here it is. "Wario Ware" or how about "Wario Ware: Any Comments?" or you could even try "Marketing Ploy: Wario as Monica Lewinsky?"

But "Wario Ware: Best GameCube Game Ever" (not with that correct capitalization) is just a really cheap ass way to try and get people to read your thread. You know, maybe I'm wrong, but I think content should be emphasized in these threads over catchy titles. But who knows? I am just right about everything, but there is a first time to be only kinda right on a subject.

I know you only want people to pay attention to your thread, but for God's sakes man, if you are gonna hype up a title like that, put some damn content in it.

And I'm spent.

I got it as a rental and it was pretty fun. Probably not worth buying for $50, I plan to pick it up used for less than $20.

It's really short, my brother beat it in two days, but I paced myself and made it halfway through the whole thing. It's a really fun fighting system though and the graphics are stellar. Music is cool too, especially Wario's taunting during the pause screen.

I have it, and I beat it. It is short, but not so short as to say it's not worth buying. I'm still trying to get all the treasure.

I rented it and beat it in the same day. It was extremely short and easy. I don't recommend buying it until the price drops on it. Im a HUGE Wario fan even and I won't buy it because it isn't worth $50.

I got then game recently, Although its really short its deffinatly worth it. At first I thought it was the best GC game ever but then, I thought back to Metroid Prime. Anyway since its so short I think you should just rent it.

Sometimes I fear Nintendo is releasing short games because they think people will buy them anyway and that they can make money off short games.

Although Nintendo didnt make this game, Treasure did, and Treasure's games are ALWAYS short.

I'm just wondering. Since Wario World and Mario Party 4 were actually system sellers, beleive it or not. I'm sure Mario Golf will be one too. Hell, i'm actually scared that Metroid Prime and Sunshine are NOT in the top 10 selling GCN games this month. Wind Waker is still #1 though. That's go od.

The game lacked any certain depth.

Although it was cool to pile drive enemies and spin them around, the game offered me no incentive of coming back really.

Best platformer yes, but SSB:M is the best game on GCN PERIOD.

Best platformer yes, but SSB:M is the best game on GCN PERIOD.

My professional instincts make me want to take that statment, rip it to shreds, stomp on it, and laugh at the puny remains. "A menial fighting game with no discernable plot, frenetic non-stop violent action, and cutesy Pokemon characters is the best GCN game ever? Thou doest blaspheme!"

However, the true gamer in me cannot do anything but agree. Ya gotta admit it, SSB:M is/was/and shall continue to be the best Gamecube ever. (At least, until the sequel comes out. ;)) Think about it! Nintendo is all about gameplay. I've played some pretty fun games on the Gamecube, but none so fun as Super Smash Bros. Melee. I don't play games for a storyline, good graphics, or online connectivity. I play games for sheer fun. If I'm having fun while playing a game, I'm happy. And when I'm happy, the world is a nicer place to live in. So, when a game comes out that is a good play above all else, another contribution has been made to indirectly make the world a better place. Super Smash Bros. Melee is such a game.

As to Wario World, I must admit, I have my doubts. I am the world's biggest platformer fan to a fault. However, since playing "Donald Duck in Goin' Quackers!", I have become wary of these psudeo-3D platformers. My reasoning is, "Why go through all the trouble of making a 3D game, when you could make a better looking 2D game out of this concept?"

But who knows? Hopefully, Nintendo shall surpass my expectations again. Here's waitin' 'till it comes out over here.

You know you guys, we already have a thread (http://forums.toonzone.net/showthread.php?t=82546) on best GCN games. :p

Oh, and, LuckyBob, while Wario World's graphics are GREAT to look at, it still feels very 2D during the levels. You don't even have a 360 camera! That's what annoyed me most about the game. You do get a semi-helpful "left-right scroll" feature, but more angles would have saved me some meetings with the Unithorns.

Just trying to get the thread back onto Wario World. I wasn't trying to get it closed or anything.
