I recently read a rumour on Scifi.com and on the Dark Horizons site, that Bale is up for the role of Batman but it was not indicated if it was for Year One or Batman Beyond.
I think of him as dark horse actor for the role and could be the best Bat for the job as well.
I saw him in American Pycho, and he could make the role darker than Clooney or Kilmer.
Comments? Agree/ Disagree?
Call me Kane.

Well, i don't know who that is, but i can tell you now, it's just a rumor. BB is "dead" in WB's eyes, and i haven't heard anything about Y1 in awhile. But i figure it'll be really big news when they finally cast the Batman.
But as for would he make a good Batsy? Well, i guess i don't really know since i don't know who he is.
That was a very useful post:p Sorry!

Yeah BB live action and BB in general is dead alright. But only in WB's eyes of course, which means that it's not physically dead, it's just that WB is the 3 year old child and BB, though the best toy made by the company in a while, just isn't new or fun enough anymore. :p
Anyway! I'd still love to see the man of dark/tragic stories himself, David Boreanaz as Terry. When I first thought of this idea I thought maybe he was too old, but now I really think he could pull it off. Heck, that kind of thing worked for Dawson's creek. It's kinda sad though because originally I knew how he said he always wanted to play the role of Spiderman, and we all know how that's been set already. But I digress.
But other than that I would assume the role of Terry is up for grabs, to anyone who could pull it off for the character and the movie's story.

Christian Bale has a slight speech impediment. He is too old to play Terry. Not to mention that he looks nothing like him. But I could see Bale as a young Bruce Wayne after seeing his preformance in American Psycho.

Christian Bale was the little kid in Empire of the Sun from 1985 and the forgettenable film Newsies. As well as Swing Kids and more recently Shaft.
Look him up on IMDB.com. the internet movie database, great place to vist.
AS for BB you guys are right he would be bad as Terry but as Bruce Wayne it could work.

To my knowledge I haven't seen Bale in anything. I'm glad I stopped to think about it, though. I was initially thinking of Ethan Hawke in the role, and it wasn't a happy thought either.

I think Bale could be a good Joker. (Jack's getting too old)

Well, 30 is a tad old to be playing a 17-year-old :p
