"Wow" is an understatement. This is probably one of the best covers to a comic book I've ever seen, by far the best animated series cover ever. I can't wait till this book comes out. What's the release date on it?

It looks awesome! A bit too flashy but still great.

All the JL art we've gotten has been 50 times more magnificant than the last. So I can't fathom to measure THIS one! It's gorgeous!

Notice Batman (well that was the first thing I noticed, that and Superman, knowing me). The ears are infact longer, yet the shot of him is so perfect. I think fans will definitely be pleased.

But what do I do? Do I print this out, or wait for November 14?? Maybe I can run this as a test to find out how impatient I really am....

Ross makes the design work perfectly, I find. I was a bit skepitcal on the new Batman design, but he just makes it click here. The image is just so damn amazing looking!

Wow. I am really, really, REALLY impressed with this. I mean, the B&W cover we've seen looked like just another animated cover (no offense there), but this...THIS is a masterpiece. I suppose I will be picking this up after all...

That is absolutely AMAZING! The coloring is unbelievable. I'm definitely gonna have to try to get that issue somehow.

Words are a totally inaduquate medium for describing the level of coolness when you have Bruce Timm combined with Alex Ross. Not only are these guys creators who actually "get it" when it comes to superheroes, but they are both colosally talented.

I want this cover on my wall....no, I want this cover to *BE* my wall! :D

Now what we need is the ultimate trio. A JLA or one of its members graphic novel written by Paul Dini, drawn by Bruce Timm and painted by Alex Ross.

I hope this comic lives up to the series. Please DC Comics, I am begging you to start giving a damn about you animated titles. You got Tim Levins on Gotham Adventures, now get whoevers responisble for all the mad magician plots in Superman Adventures off that book!

If we could have all the adventures titles running full blast then it would give people such a wonderful alternative to the dour mess of mainline continuity.

Anyway, here's looking foward to this show, and to more work by the true Wonder Twins Bruce Timm and Alex Ross!

Don't suprised if DC makes this into a poster like they did with the painted Superman cover of the SUPERMAN: ADVENTURES OF THE MAN OF STEEL tradepaperback.

Whoa! They made a poster of that? Is it still available to order?

Not sure. You may wanna look around www.dccomics.com or even ask your comic book retailer about it. It was a while back.

Hey, if they do make a poster of this, let us know!

Then again, I'm STILL looking for a print of the poster Ross did for ROTJ...

Ross did a poster for ROTJ? Got a link anywhere? For just a pic, I mean, not to actually buy it.

It was a lithograph released a while back. An image of it is on the Batman Beyond section of www.countingdown.comn if that section is still up.

That is some sweet artwork there. Alex Ross never disappoints.

As far as making it into wallpaper, couldn't you just right click over the image and select to set it as wallpaper yourself?

Actually, I was thinking of having the main image shifted over to the right, over a background whose color would match the painting, and then put into 800 x 600 dimensions. I might do one myself if I find the time.

The lithograph could be available at www.fandomshop.com or www.anotheruniverse.com if the sites haven't closed down again!
