In transition from b&w to colour, why did you loose the mountains in the backround?

I agree... The mountains and vapor/smoke gave it more depth and ambiance.

Great pencils, first off. I cant anything, per se, with them. I like the color palette you used, but the technique you used between He-Man and the rest of the pic are different. Try re-coloring it using full tones (one solid color with one shade lower for shade and one higher for highlight), like the show does and as the rest of the pic is (I noticed you used Photoshop for it, so It is possible if you saved the original file :D). It will make it that much better.
