"A Waggily Tale". The ending is my favorite part--it poses the philosophical query of whether our dogs are actually dogs or just the products naughty little boys having nightmares. In other words, existential materialism, the world is one big dream, and it's all subjective.
"Much Ado About Nutting". The classic "food-in-the-unbreakable-container" plot device. This and Slappy Squirrel's "the Nutcracker Suite" are two of my favorite takes on this one. Loved it when the coconut tipped the camera a wink.
"Pizzicato Pussycat". Isn't that the same couple from the Jones short about the Martian baby and the Earth baby that got switched? The mouse sounds a lot like one of the Goofy Gophers, though I don't know if it's the one voiced by Blanc or Freberg.
"Wild Honey (or How to Get Along Without a Ration Book)" . Probably one of Barney's funniest shorts. Love the ending, with the detailed animation on his beestung, honey-covered face.
"The Rattled Rooster". Note the use of the Red Skelton-esque "mean widdle kid" voice. Though I admit I was hoping to see the Jerry Colonna worm pop up.
"A Star Is Hatched". Second night in a row they capped things off with Emily the Chicken...although IMO this one, with all lthe celeb caricatures, was better than her second ("I Only Have Eyes for You").

Nope, it wasn't edited. :)
Also, the couple from "Pizzicato Pussycat" (Mr. and Mrs. Jones) were also seen in Freleng's "Goo Goo Goliath" where the drunken stork delivers a giant's baby to them by mistake.
