Tim Leighton pic #263
Origins Series #7
"Workplace Romance"
Hey all! This is another pic from my "origins" series, this time focusing on the origin of Harley Quinn. Not much more to say, really, so enjoy! Comments and critiques are always welcome. :)

Ohhh! http://www.theeddzone.com/ez/bouncy.gif I like it, I like it!
I especially love the colouring on Harley's legs /skirt, it just looks so *searches for the right word and fails* ... natural? lifelike? Sorry I'm floundering to describe it, I just wish I could work shading like that :)
Gotta love the inmates attitudes too, especially Joker's, he looks so cool in a remote 'yeah I know I've got it, don't need to flaunt it' laid back way.
Great stuff Tim!

That's a really fun picture! :) I especially like the shading for the walls of the prison and the skylight up top, with the moon peeking through (nice, atmospheric touch :)). And Harley just looks so happy, as she skips down the hall and waves to the Joker - seriously great characterizations: good expressions give the viewer an idea of what each person in the pic is thinking. Ayep, good job all around. :D

Seeing all the villains in their cells is funny. YOu did a good job with everyone's actions. I don't quite understand whats up with Killer Croc though. http://images.bravenet.com/brpics/smilie/10_confused.gif

very cool pic. very good perspective work on the hallway. i like the air-brushy effect on harley. really well done. who's the shady character off in the distance? anyone in particular or just a random sinister inmate? :D

Hey guys! Thanks for the great comments! I posted this pic mostly because I was really pleased with how Harley's non-costumed self turned out - shading and proportions - and how the shading on the walls turned out. Everything else is bonus.
BTW, the shadowy guy in the back is SUPPOSED to be the Scarecrow, but it didn't turn out too well. I didn't know how I'd draw him out of costume, so I just decided to keep him in a dark, dank cell.
As for Croc...erm...ya know, I still don't know what I was trying to do with him. Maybe I was just aiming to make him look kinda stupid and brain-dead...but as it turns out, he looks more awe-struck with the glass divider in front of him. Ah well. :p
Thanks again, all!
