Well, I know TriSaber has a really cool comic 'portrait' so to say, and I thought it would be cool if we made self portraits or portraits of ourselves in cartoon/comic style.

Here's mine, with a different hairstyle... than the usual :elle:

lol :elle:

I am gonna tweak a few little things like the way the jaw comes up. I accidentally forgot to ink it and totally erased it as well as a smile line lol

Del! That is an idea for everyone to try. Looks good so far, and I love the lips. They are killers to draw for me at least. So I have to admire your ability to do so. The hair seems close enough. I like how you added your own picture. That was something new.

Can't wait to see it in color!

Neat-o! :D I especially like the raised eyebrow. Overall, good idea and good execution of said idea!

P.S. Post 1,500. Yay.

Hey, I'll join in the fun. Actually, I did these a few years back. They're cartoonish versions of myself; the first greets visitors to my website, while the other one is just an extra:

These are based on my appearance back in high school, although I haven't changed that much. Yes, I still wear flannel shirts. (I was wearing them BEFORE the whole stupid grunge phase, dammit!) Errr...anyway, I'm planning on exploring these designs in more detail for an upcoming comic strip, sort of a Clerks-meets-Foxtrot-meets-The Simpsons type comedy/drama (or "dramedy", if you prefer). It's about a little mini-mall and the denizens that work and dwell there, most of the characters and experiences will be taken from my own life. More about everyday trials and tribulations than just straight laughs, but the jokes will be there. Strips like this have been done before, but this is more for fun than anything else. I'll keep you all posted on my progress.

As for my alter-ego, "Captain Infinity", he is the "Superman" of my fictional comic book universe. Here's an early design:

I've since gotten rid of the buccaneer-style boots and I've altered his cape slightly, but the basic design is there.

Captain Infinity--- I dont really see flannels as a grunge thing. LOL.

you remind me of Steven Spielberg... and his clothing just says 'you dont need money for comfort'. I love it!

Enrique- I love the 'wide brush' look with the eyebrows and the glasses. It gives you more movement without having to be exacting in gesture. It's perfect!

Here's one that Delia did of me last year. It was based on a picture that was out of date by a couple of years, although I hadn't changed that much. I'm not as slim as her portrait would suggest, but I thought it was cute. Below is a picture of what I really look like, from this past Christmas.

My retort to Prom :D the filename (whyinthehell.jpg) should explain it, just add a "do I have to go?" to the end. This is more of a stylized version of me (as there is no chance that I will ever be that slim).

Me at Prom. Gah... you really can't make any comparisons with my hair up like that... (and I really don't like the picture anyways) I'll do something better later.

Okay, one more... (http://www.artarchive.org/artist/AlienFirst/amandatb_study.jpg) That's how I drew myself before I got my hair cut. It was almost that long too 0_o
