My vote goes to "The Wise Little Hen". The first appearance of Donald Duck ("Who me? Oooh, I've got a belly ache!"). Plus, the tune is really, really catchy!

Some of 'em are good, but not great.
I really want to see "The Skeleton Dance"
and "Hell's Bells" along with the early 1929 Mickeys,
"Mickey's Choo-Choo," "The Chain Gang,"
"The Opry House," "Blue Rhythm,"
"The Karnival Kid," and "The Haunted House."

I had to go with HELL'S BELLS (1929)
I would put this cartoon as a "Cult" classic among Disney cartoons.Carl Stallings music in this short is excellent and what is really interesting is that the music features the title song from "Alfred Hitchock Presents".So this is another great musical piece of music from C.Stalllings.
Satan is the main character in this cartoon short and he looks evil but in other scenes he looks goofy. The funniest scene is where Satan's little demons pour fire from a dragon-cow that spits firey flames, and when Satan drinks the flames he burps, and then looks towards the camera with a smile and you think he's going to say excuse me, but doesn't.
What a classic :D

I picked TORTOISE AND THE HARE, but my favorite Silly Symphony— 1936's THREE LITTLE WOLVES— was missing. A drastic improvement on the original PIGS of 1933, it's got wonderful pacing, wonderful characterization... and outrageous *humor*, which the first pig cartoon lacks.
The timing when Fiddler and Fifer Pig blow the wolf horn, and Practical Pig takes his lumps going to their rescue, is masterful. What a great cartoon.
"Well! Let me have it!"

You can find all of those cartoons (except for HELL'S BELLS) on the Ink and Paint Club. It airs at 4 am/3c.

Same as Jon, I voted "The Wise Little Hen". Not only the tune is catchy, it has a real funny ending, instead of the usual Little Red Hen ending...:p

There are several good ones to choose from here - The Three Little Pigs, The Skeleton Dance, Wise Little Hen, Tortoise And The Hare...
I'll go with da' Pigs.
I think 've seen all of these except "Hell's Bells" - so Nelson, I'll just have to take your word for it that it's a good one. ;)
