hey..since i got a good response from my last submission here, i decided to post up a new card design i've been working on from another good episode..this one is a marker sketch mixed with some opaque water colors. (as i look at it now, i realize that the shading on supes' emblem kind of distorted it into the new alien symbol that clark got branded with. on smallville :shrug: lol..) i apoligize for the blurriness of this one. let me know what you think. thanx.

Seriously, that's a great title card! What makes your two cards so far, as well as all the BTAS cards, so great are how simple, symbolic, and thematic they are. Very good work, dude! I love your marker/water colour sketching abilities. Just what markers do you use?

Another fine job. It is a real pity that this feature was phased out for TNBA.

thanks.i try to keep them as simple as possible. that's kind of the hardest part though cause it's really easy to get sucked into details(as with this one a bit) i use the prismacolor markers brand mostly...prob one of the most expensive ones out there but a high quality...they're really useful for offering diff shades of greys (cool 60% warm 10% etc..) that plus being waterproof makes them a really good choice for mixed media which i almost always end up with...of coarse nothing beats the ol' dip pens for the most striking and crisp effects but i'm not really looking forward to practicing with those yet. :o i'm going to start work pretty soon on a mad love card..i've been looking forward to that one most of all. :D

The altered one is cool, too. Reminds me of an Oscar statue, what with the golden highlights. I think I still prefer the original, though. :)

If you split Bruce/Clark right down the centre and kept at least the Superman half of the logo in the pic, I'd like the second one most. Nice rich colours, though!
