So, i take it there's new episodes in the ren and stimpy adult party, and old school ones in the ren and stimpy show?\

Actually, the repeat of "Stripperella" would air at 11:10 instead of 11:00 because WWE Raw airs from 9:00 to 11:10. So that means that everything's is pushed back 10 minutes.

Don't they have any 'toons on Monday thru Wednesday? Or do they have other programming (movies, wrestling, etc.) on those nights?

BTW, what does everyone think of that Spike Lee guy wanting the network to change its name because everyone will think he's associated in some way with that network (especially when he's not)? Maybe he should also boycott the RGW movie, and get the producers to change the dog's name. :p  :deedee:

Titles/descriptions for the premieres are up at TNN.com. Here they are:

Ren & Stimpy Adult Party Cartoon - Episode 1 - Onward and Upward
Tired of living inside a homeless man’s mouth, Ren and Stimpy move to classy new digs, the inside of a spittoon.

Stripperella - Episode 1 - Beauty and The Obese
Evil Dr. Cesarian is injecting models with instant-fattening implants.

Gary The Rat - Episode 2 (?) - Inherit the Cheese
Gary is given the biggest case of his career defending the Southern Tobacco Company against the State of New York. He wins by using the argument that the tobacco company shouldn't be persecuted just because it is different.

New episode titles/descriptions will most likely be added every Thursday.

For some reason, the TNN.com and TVGuide.com schedules don't have R&S Classics listed at 11:30, or at all, for that matter. That scares me a little bit.

Is it just me, or does that sound like the kind of plot that'd be in a Games episode?

You know, just thinking. How come every single thing I hear about "The Strip" in the media have to do with that Pamela Anderson thing, yet the show has already been cancelled? Doesn't this sound a bit like a paradox?

Anyway, as I have said before, I will be there when this thingie starts, but don't know how much longer after that.

I'm getting less enthuisastic every time I hear about the lineup, and I had almost none to start with.

F'rinstance, "Stripperella" looks like a show for people who think "Son of the Beach" is too subtle.

Ren & Stimpy Adult Party Cartoon - Episode 1 - Onward and Upward Tired of living inside a homeless man’s mouth, Ren and Stimpy move to classy new digs, the inside of a spittoon. I never liked R&S in the first place, and this seems like more of the same (and if The Ripping Friends is any indication, much worse).
Stripperella - Episode 1 - Beauty and The Obese Evil Dr. Cesarian is injecting models with instant-fattening implants. ...I think this synopsis alone tells you the probable quality of the show.
Gary The Rat - Episode 2 (?) - Inherit the Cheese Gary is given the biggest case of his career defending the Southern Tobacco Company against the State of New York. He wins by using the argument that the tobacco company shouldn't be persecuted just because it is different. This one threw me off...I mean...what? That just sounds......weird.

Actually, cutting the original R & S may be a sign of misguided confidence, believing these shows can stand by themselves without the help of a beloved cartoon of the past. It annoys me because I plan to tape R&S this time around and I'd like two chances to tape them, my old tapes from the original run are disintegrating, most have commercials inbetween and I'm lacking a few good episodes.

As you may know, The New TNN was blocked from initiating the name change to SpikeTV on Monday as scheduled by Spike Lee. This, however, does NOT affect the animation block. It will still begin on June 26, as scheduled. You can get the full details Right Here (http://forums.toonzone.net/showthread.php?postid=828003#post828003)

i hope the judge throws this case back at Spike Lee's face.
what an udderly ridiculous claim

when i heard of Spike TV, I never associated it w/ Mr. Lee.
Call it him Spike Mee for his ego.

btw, the animation block got set back from the 16th???

Actually, if the new episodes can capture the feel of the original, this episode seems like it could be pretty funny. And TServo, not ALL of the Games episodes were bad, there were some stinkers, but there were some good ones too.
...but my opinion is bias anyways, since I'm a rabid Ren and Stimpy fan. I've been truly hoping that the Ripping Friends was just a one time mistake (and you have to remember the network John K. was making the show for).
Any idea where they're gonna start the classic episodes? I assume they're gonna go in order starting with Big House Blues.
...and who's going to be the new voice of Stimpy? (since I assume that John K. is going to go back to voicing Ren). It's definetally not going to be Billy West...
