Hey peps!
Ok, this is a thread with pics on it. Wow, got you there.
http://groups.msn.com/TheBatThing/shoebox.msnw?action=ShowPhoto&PhotoID=2
You see, I have this great friend, Silver. We have known each other for a year or more... who knows. But the point to this story is that her Birthday is a day before mine (which was June 10th). SO we made each other cards!! SO I am posting a Silver character, which all rights link to Silver.
I know that the guns suck, (Need to make it 3-D at the top) and I need to fix them, but any other hint could be nice.
And one more thing... http://www.geocities.com/silvers_art/
The World of Silver. By Silver! Check out her art, and tell her what you think, or just tell me what you think so I can tell her. She is really good, and keeps getting better. She won't come her due to her being busy, so I thought maybe a few words could get her down here, or at least to post one thing. She said I could post the cards she gave me so I will do that later. So here you be! Enjoy.

Very cool! Looks like messing with you guys would be a bad idea. ;) You could crush someone with those crazy boots! I like the outfits, the poses, everything. Good job.

Big feet, hee-hee. Yeah, but my small ones suck. I love the comment on crushing someone, it killed me and my sister when we saw it. It's true though. I need to try and make small feet. Or at least try. Though small feet are no fun, but they might be use full for some other things.
Thanks G Ol' BM! Words of encouragement! Always nice!!

Lol, well you know what they say about people with big feet...
...Big shoes! :p
Lol, I hope she enjoys the card as much as we did :) I personally, think the shading rocks, as well as (who could ever forget??) them big feet ;)

I have also come to realize Casity's unreal fascination with such huge shoes. It's a stylistic point that I think works well. :)
Hey Cas, I know you mentioned my colouring jobs in my picture thread a day or two ago, but don't knock your own talent! I think it looks great! I love your graded shading jobs, especially because that's how I like to colour, too.
Good stuff, BatThing! :D

Wriggle: Wow, you had me worried for a moment with that opening line. *Grins* Hee-hee. Thanks! Let's hope that holds true. People with big feet DO need big shoes. *Grins* That would be terrible if they made shoe sized in only one size. Heh, 'course my drawings need a size that hasn't been found yet.
Tim: Thanks! I guess that big feet come from my love for Humberto Ramos. Everyone knows the love I have for his art. Or if you don't, it's ok. Yeah, but the big feet could be made smaller. I had to do this project with a friend, a children's book for anatomy. I drew the people, and she the backgrounds. Naturally my people had huge feet... well, the teacher gave us an A+, but the kids who got it didn't like the feet, so they gave us an A. Typical.
About the shading... do you know how to computer color or do you just love colored pencils? Just a random thought of the day. What they need is a colored pencil for the computer, attached to the computer, so we don't have to use that crazy mouse.
Thanks for the comment about shadding. I try is all my reply. I can't say much else than I am learning.
Thanks Tim and Wriggle!

Nope, haven't a clue. I wish I did - I wouldn't use it much, I expect, but it'd be nice to have another medium at my fingertips. All my work is done 100% by hand. Yours is too, right? Still lookin' good too.

I know what you mean. I try, but its really time consuming. Oh well. Yeah, its all by hand... beside the background. I erase to much to post it without coloring the edges. Thanks.

Great as always, Casity. :)
I really think you should go into clothing or costume design because, I feel, that is your strongest attribute of all of your pics.
Hope that helps :)

Marika, I didn't even see your post! Opps, sorry about that!
Yeah, that sucks, fellow Tim fan can't see my art :(. That sucks bug time, 'specially since you love Tim like, as much as me, maybe even more!
Hee-hee, but at least this one isn't of Tim. Thanks for posting though, sorry, i don't know any other way to get it up for everyone to see.
Outlander: Thanks, and yeah, clothes are always fun to draw... the rest is actually very dull and hard. The jeans are the best, then shoes. Heh.
Thanks for the note, but I don't think that my dad would let me go into such a job area. But I think you already know about that... hehe, weren't you the one that attempted to solve a problem online for me?
Wow, anyhow. Thanks for the comments guys. And sorry the guns suck so bad. I really wish I could fix them, but I am much to lazy for that. You know me.

Wow! :) Great job, Casity! I really love the way you draw people, especially the big feet: they look like they'd make great characters in a very stylized comic. The shading and coloring look great too. And I love all the details you put into the clothing.
Post some more, please! :D
I didn't have the time to look at all of your friend's stuff, but I really like the logo for her site. :)

Ikwig: Thanks for another awesome review! I am glad you enjoyed it, and hope you post more soon! A trade off lets say. Thanks for taking note on the clothes. Both you and Outlander. I guess things change in the drawing world. I have always loved drawing feet and boots, but now jeans strike my fancy. That sounds weird.
“What is your favorite past time?”
“Why, drawing jeans and feet!”
Heh, thanks for glancing at Silver’s section. But it’s a shame you only saw the logo, cause I think that she has improved since that. You have to read her comic about cartoonist being sketch artists. And it’s the funniest thing in the world!

Check it out all of you! Good art, and an even better plot. She is a genius! I tell you! I died laughing, as did my sister when we read this cartoon.
Thanks for the words Ikwig, and I hope that you post more for us too.
