Any step ahead in DVDs for Batman is a step in the right direction, I say! Thanks for the heads up there, DG!

They do for sure! I hope the vast majority of us can make it to that chat. I really want WB to know there is an audience for this stuff when the discs are done right!

Ouch! What is it with my life and messed up coincidences. The chat is the same exact time as Buffy's season premiere. Well it's a good thing my lap top is 4 feet away from my TV. Besides, this topic is just too important.

WB can't go on making a profit without our input. I'm sure all our Batfans at WF will be there to enlighten who ever is asking to be. :)

This is great news...all we need now is the Superman series on DVD and maybe a Special Edition version of Mask of the Phantasm.

I'm really hoping 2002 will be a banner year for us fans. We've been sticking with these charatcers our wholes lives. How about some payback --?

Every episode of Batman: TAS on dvd would be the ultimate in dvd releases. Also, Subzero was meant for dvd (with the cgi logos, ships, etc).

A large number of fans will buy whatever is released. Search for "Batman Animated" on Ebay. Nearly every auction with those two words get bids. Also, a used Columbia vhs set of all the episodes sold for $500+.

I remember reading a long time ago that at least a full minute of footage was shaved off of Batman episodes #66-85. It would be great if they included this, along with any other deleted scenes, on the DVDs.

Also, commentary tracks would be nice too--maybe with Bruce Timm, Paul Dini, Alan Burnett, Kevin Conroy, and the vocal talent for each respective episode.

WB is starting to straighten out. The CITIZEN KANE DVD release is evident of that, but they really need to get in gear. Which is why I think this chat is going to be a very important one...
