We like to discourage this sort of thread here at TZ. 'Fun And Games' had a whole revamp on the basis of threads like this. But since you are all having so much fun we'll compromise. :p

If you are going to rate a game, explain why it gets that rating - otherwise this thread just becomes post bumping material in which contains no substance - we can all do better than that.

So explain what it rates in your opinion and why.

If this thread continues in this vein, I'll close it.

Any I rate Megaman Zero a 9 because it was fun that I got to play after a long haitus of megaman games,*I didn't buy video games for 2 years*. I can't remember perfectly because I just played for fun and never thought about it after playing it.. :shrug: All I remember is having fun time so I gave it 9. :sweat:

It's actually a fun game and an excellent design. So why the somewhat lower score? Because I suck at it. Kinda a stupid reason and I'm sure if I learned how to play it well, I'd like it more but for right now, it's a 7.

Definitely a 9. It's graphically stunning, controls well, features mega-replay value (Panzer Dragoon 1 is THE bonus), and is just plain fun to play. However, it lacks that certain "oomph" that a 10 game would have. It meets your expectations but doesn't really blow them away. Besides, it's a reasonably simple title. Fly, shoot stuff, avoid stuff, etc.

Best. Mario. Game. Ever. (-: Seemed like back in the NES days, it was the same with every franchise that went beyond two games-- the first would rule, the second would take it in a new direction and be okay at best, and then the third would take it back to its roots and rule even more. It happened with Zelda, and it happened with Mario Bros. as well. Took all the goodness from the first, and made it even better with new powerups (Tanooki Mario rules!), the ability to backtrack through levels, the world map, DIFFERENT bosses at the end of each level, vastly improved graphics (to the extent that when it was rereleased in Super Mario All-Stars, it got just a tiny touchup as opposed to the total makeover the others got), etc. etc. etc. Good stuff.

Celshading was a good idea, but its implementation was broken and butt-ugly. Gameplay was slow, unintuitive, and generally just not that fun to play. And, of course, the premise of a Simpsons Wrestling game is kind of stupid to begin with. The only thing it had going for it was some decent sound clips.
