What were the "Momentary" episodes of SGC2C? Were they commentaries, and if so, who did them?

The "Mommentary" episodes of SGC2C were like DVD commentaries of Kentucky Nightmare. The first one (which aired December 30, 2001) was done by the mothers of Matt Maiellaro, Dave Willis and Mike Lazzo, and then the other two Momementaries (Number 2: Creator's Commentary and Number 3: Jellybean, both aired May 12, 2002) were done by the guys themselves.

Yes -- that was Mother's Day 2002, which explains why they showed Kentucky Nightmare and all 3 Mommentaries. Mommentary #2 & #3 were actually commentaries of Mommentary #1, so you had the guys talking over their mothers' voices, talking over the actual show dialogue.

I don't think they've ever re-run a Mommentary except for the aforementioned re-run of Mommentary #1. And that makes perfect sense, since they really weren't meant to stand repeated viewings.



I sure hope they include all of those as commentary tracks when we get up to that episode on the DVD. I mean, it just makes sense. Although they might not be able to replicate them exactly, since the actual Mommentary episodes had a little "FROM THE KENTUCKY NIGHTMARE DVD" notice on the bottom of the screen.
