Okay, here is a really obsessive one. My parents were both old-song encyclopedias, and were able to give me the titles of almost every song that Stalling ever stuck into a WB cartoon. (Incidentally, if anyone wants a sheet music version of POWERHOUSE I have it.) But there is precisely one that I have never been able to peg:
What is the song the orchestra is doing at the beginning of A LAD IN HIS LAMP, cut off when the Jim Backus genie emerges from the lamp?
Quite catchy, but no one I know has ever been able to place it.
