One piecce voice actors

Well since it see's that one piece is skyrocketing in japan the next step for it would be to come to america. And with that toy's games and movie seeing as how this is funi's next big cash cow who do you think will do the voices?

Uh, since FUNi is dubbing it, they won't be using Ocean Studios or Animaze for dubbing. They will be using their own actors.

I don't think Kyle ever said Stephanie was Luffy, I only remember him saying he tried out for Zoro.

If Stephanie is Luffy, I refuse to watch One Piece. She does not fit him at all.

I don't think Stephenie would be SO bad. I mean, the original Luffy/Rufi/Roofy was done by the same seiyuu/voice actress who did Krillen, Mayumi Tanaka. I can actually see it working, if she made him sound more older. After watching over 60 episodes of One Piece, I've gotten so accustomed to Luffy's voice, I think I can pick out a good one. ^.^

I don't think you have to worry about Stephenie voiceing Luffy since they only use Females VA for kids (well there was Freeza but I think we've all blocked that out ;) ). But, I can't picture Kyle doing Zoro he dose'nt have that "bad ass" attitude. I think who ever Voices Kyo from FB could work.

The reason I don't want the "Goku" voice for Luffy is because Luffy's like.. 14 years old, and Goku is, what, 7 or 8? There's a clear difference there.

I don't think anyone at FUNi can voice Luffy, in my opinion. All their "kid" voices sound super-squeeky high, and the only 'teen' voices, like Future Trunks or Gohan, wouldn't fit Luffy at all.

Luffy sounds like a kid though in the Japanese version. He really does. I'd think Steph could pull it off nice. Then we have Kyle as Zoro. Hmmm... I dunno. Zoro's got a deep voice and is very badass. I don't really love the though of Kyle as him.

I'll bet $20 that Chris gets hired as Zoro. ;.;

Slightly OT, I always wanted to see/hear David Lucas or Steven J. Blume (Don't bug me on this one) do Sanji. ^.^

It wasn't terrible charecter design, it was a cartoonish design. That's what Akira had in mind for DragonBall, a cartoonish design. That changed ALOT in DBZ. -.-

I'd say that Juri's VA would be a good Nami and Luffy could be played by um..uh... well Funi surprised us with good VA's never before seen on their other shows (I.E. Touya,Jin) But Kyle Hebert did an excellent Karasu so we should just wait and see how he does as Zoro if so. Im sorry but I really want Uraurishima to voice someone who appears frequently he did excellent and I want to see him back.

I agree, Justin Cook is excellent. Such a difference between Dende and Yusuke and he pulls off both beautifully. He should have some good roles in One Piece. Kyle doesn't quite fit Zoro, but Sabat doesn't fit him AT ALL. Besides Sabat has enough on his plate with what little he has of Vegeta in GT and the rest of YYH as Kuwabara and other random characters. They should bring in some new talent to do Luffy. That would be the best bet.

Just be glad Animaze isn't doing One Piece otherwise Mona Marcial would have been Luffy for sure.
