Has "Injun Trouble" (the original from 1938) ever been aired on the Bob Clampett Show? Incindentally, are there any cartoons that Bob Clampett made that HAVEN'T been on the show yet (beyond his two in the censored 11)?

Well, I know these were never on the show:

"Injun Trouble" (1938)
"Kristopher Kolumbus Jr."
"Africa Squeaks"
"Ali Baba Bound"
"Coal Black and De Sebben Dwarfs"
"Tin Pan Alley Cats"

You can also add "Pilgrim Porky" and "A Coy Decoy" to that list.

And of course to this list you can add his Private Snafu cartoons "Fighting Tools" and "Booby Traps" and his U.S. Navy Mr. Hook cartoon "Tokyo Woes". Then there's his solo cartoon for Repulsive (oops Republic Pictures) "It's A Grand Old Nag". Annnnnnd there's the several Columbia cartoons that he worked uncredited on at the behest of newbie producers Ray Katz and Henry Binder (as a favor to Leon Schlesinger), but he did NOT direct these (uncredited co-storyman etc.). And finally there's the remainder of his early 1960's fun-derful TV series "Beany and Cecil" (he wrote the story outlines for all these and produced them but did NOT direct these or write them). You might stretch it quite a bit and include the NEW Beany and Cecil toons directed by John Kricfalusi back in 1988 for the Clampett clan and ABC TV.

Iffffff the Clampett family wants to do something really nice for all Clampett fans everywhere then they could dig out Bob's story outlines for the Beany and Cecil cartoons that failed to get produced back in 1961-62 and see about making those!!!!

What about those four Jerkey Journey cartoons, didn't Clampett do those?

Jack~

Unfortunately no. They were released by Republic also but were made by moonlighting Warner designers and background artists. Bob in his own published filmography and interviews steered clear of them (despite his claims on other cartoons).

Thanks, I wasn't too sure about Clampett's part in the Jerkey Journey cartoons. So republic only released five cartoons, too bad.
