While watching the AFI special the other day on CBS, my brother and I noticed ad after ad for these reality shows. All of these shows are supposed to have real people in it, but I never see any true gamers. This is why I propose the world's first reality show for geeks.
You take twelve conflicting gamers and lock them in a house with as many games and systems money can buy. Then you film them, Real World style. (Note: The language would be as hardcore as the fistfights, but due to the filter, I'll have to tone it down.)
Gamer 1: Heh, your XBox sucks! Microsoft is evil and Bill Gates is a money grubbing loser!
Gamer 2: Oh look at you, Mr. "I like Gamecube which is for babies and little girls"!
Gamer 1: A least I don't want to suck Bill -
Gamer 3: HEY! BOTH OF YOU SHUT UP! I AM TRYING TO PLAY HALF LIFE!
Gamer 4: I am better than you all! I am l33t and I roxxors!
*fist fight*
Then there will be the old school gamers who will constantly be taunted!
Gamer 5: Look at you! You can't even get your Nintendo Cartridge to work! HA HA HA!
Gamer 6: Nice Sonic game you have going there. *kicks genesis and it resets* Oh, and by the way, it's called "Super Sayain", not "Super Sonic". Say it with me now: "Su...per...Sai...yan".
Gamer 5: Bring it!
*fist fight*
Gamer 7: Hey, I need to level off the table. Where's your N64?
Gamer 8: TAKE THAT BACK DUMBASS! Use the Atari!
Gamer 7: That's it! You are going down!
Then there will be at least one gamer chick the other eleven hit on and then that will cause another massive fist fight. And just imagine the brawl when the all run out of Hot Pockets.
Plus, the confessions would be awesome:
Gamer 9: I hate Louie. He keeps on hitting on Annete and he is angering me *giggling from camera* HEY! DID YOU GUYS TAP INTO THE CAMERA AND SPYING ON ME! OH! YOU ARE GOING DOWN NOW!
*fist fight*
And the pranks:
Gamer 1: We put Linux on the X Box. Let us see Al's reaction.
Al: WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO?! I CAN'T DO JACK NOW! YOU ARE ALL GETTING YOUR ASSES BEAT!
*fist fight*
They may not be as attractive as the rest of the reality shows and may not have sex, but it will have a lot of hardcore brawls.
