"Household Chores"
Hey all! I decided that, after all my more controversial or just plain morbid pics as of late, I thought I'd put up something a tad more light-hearted. Hope you like it!
Comments and critisms, as usual, are much appreciated. :)
You missed a spot! (http://www33.brinkster.com/timtwoface/rob-car.html)

Poor Robin. I couldn't see Bruce doing it - or Alfred. So someone has to.. Nice Robin. I like the light/dark thing you have highlighting hair and gloves. Negatives? The Batmobile is very large in proportion to Robin - doesn't take from the humour of the picture though...!
Nice. However as you like critism, the batmobile is a bit dark as you can just barely see the shading on it. I thought Robin was cleaning a hole at first. You managed to seperate the car from the gloves though so kudos to that. And Robins costume is shaded nicely
Good Ol' Batmanuel!

One word: HA! :D
Another word(s): I love the way you drew Robin. The coloring is great and so is the pose. However, it seems to me that his legs seem pretty short, especially taking into account that his feet are pointing back. Dig? :)

Love it! Poor kid, hehe, but I agree...who else can you really see doing that? I do like the way you did the cave, Robin, and being able to seperate his black gloves from the black Batmobile. I mean, it's black, so it's supposed to be dark, though perhaps you could have tried some minor shading on it. There are lights in the cave, so there's got to be light reflecting off some of it. Besides that, the wheel looks a tad too small. But overall the picture is really cool.

Hey guys, thanks for the comments. To date, this is the ONLY time that I've ever drawn any portion of the Batmobile. Ever. I've done the Batwing a handful of times, but never the Batmobile. I hear ya about it being a little TOO dark - I guess I didn't play around with the colours enoughn to make it better.
If you look closely, you'll notice that I've forgotten to put a tire on the wheel. It's just a hubcap! :p
I know I need to improve on a few things with this year-old pic of mine, but dang it, look at that bucket. I NAILED that dang bucket! :D

i could see Alfred winning a bet against robin and him ending up with the chores LOL

Right on the money. Robin is always polishing something for Batman.

That looks really good!! Love the artwork. I hope washing that batmoblie isn't such a pain in the you know what for nice Tim. Why dosen't Afreid or Bruce do that job.Afrieds the butler for pates sake!! And Bruce always drives the mobile, so he should keep it in top shape himself:mad:!! Anyway, Its a greatly drawn & colored pic.

Heehee - great pic, Tim! :) That's one of my least favorite jobs, so I can really feel for Robin - poor boy! :D
Great job with the cave and especially the highlights on Robin's gloves and hair. The batmobile is a bit large, but it's great for a first try - and I love the added touch of the oil stain beneath it! And yes, you did nail the bucket and the wash rags too! Ayep, my only suggestion would be working on the batmobile's proportions and shading. Otherwise, excellent job. :)

Nice one Tim!
I like how you drew Robin in this pic^^ The batmobile is a bit to big and long. Other than that ...good job! :)

Ikitty-wig, Kylie, thanks for the comments, ladies. :) About the car being so long and...erm...manly  - I was only basing it on the original BTAS design where the Batmobile was like three blocks long. Seriously, that car is EXCESSIVELY long! It's amazing that it can handle turns and curves so well. :D
I should draw another Batmobile pic to make up for this one. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm out of ideas at the moment. :(

Hee-hee, that IS true. That front of the Batmobile is really long. No one here can deny that point. Heh, I don't have any suggestions, besides just draw it... the study of the batmobile.... better than math is all I can say.
*Runs around the room chanting* Tim, Tim, Tim, Tim, Tim... Tim Drake! I can only relate with one other person here about my feelings for Tim, and that is Marika Segal, hee-hee. Another great Tim fan!
I loved the picture Tim... Tim Twoface. Once more, your backgrounds are awesome. If there is one thing I can't draw, it would be backgrounds. As anyone can clearly see in any of my pics. Oh well, I am sure I will get the hang of it one day, but till then I'll just admire yours. Hope that is ok with you:). The cave was dark, and I could see details. *Grins* So very cool that you can do that. I am taking note of how you drew it, and going to make an awful attempt at a cave. Yours inspired me.
Shading, you kill me with it every time! You are like the father of color pencils... or crayon colors... or what ever you kids over there call them. Pencil crayons? I have to wonder how long they last with you though. You shade really dark, which I think that would take a lot from your colored pencil. It's like death when Tim buys a colored pencil set. Hee-hee, but that is what makes the picture so good.
Your style is awesome, and I am thrilled you drew Timmy Drake for us! Now that you have drawn him, and are filled with knowlege of how he is, you should do more picture of Red Robin! Just a though *coughs*.
This is a huge reveiw, but I really liked the picture, so hope you can throw more at us! Please?
Thanks!

Actually, it's probably a welcome rest for him.

It's too bad you feel that way, but if you really do want to make another one, how about something based on "I've Got Batman In My Basement" or "The Mechanic," etc..? That way, you can get to draw The Penguin, which you always do very well, and the Batmobile at the same time. :)

Hey, you think he's got it bad now, wait until he figures out he has to mop, too. :p
Hmm, is the Batmobile really that long? I like the lighting on Robin's hair, for some reason. And the coloring's really close to BTAS style.
One question: What's the brown spot under the Batmobile?

Don't even go there dude.

Geez, what's with you and the gay jokes?
Starscream, that brown spot is just the oil patch underneath the car and nothing more. I wanted to throw it in because it just made the picture complete. Besides, it shows that, even if the Batmobile is the most awesome car EVER, it still needs a tune-up and oil change every now and again.

What can I say - people just keep on setting them up. It's just one of those aspects of the Batman universe that makes it so deep and intriguing.
But to get back on topic, does Robin really have to do this kind of menial labor? Is he still making minimum wage? Surely Bruce can shell out for a mechanic or two.

Man, it really is a sad state of affairs when you bring on a sidekick that also cleans/cooks/repairs/... Isnt that what Alfred was for? :p
I feel bad for him, Tim! BUT, it is a great drawing I must say :)
