Just last night, I got a DVD player! I bought one of those really cheap ($50) Apex players, and I'm really happy with it. Not only does it not have macrovision encoded on it, (which allows me to run it through my vcr instead of buying an RF converter) but it's now officially region free. It's quiet and works very well. I picked up a few discs last night, but I really want to get the Disney Treasures discs. Is there a fairly affordable place to get the MM in Living Color set? Like for $50 or less?
Also, I just ordered the Beany & Cecil DVD. It's on sale for $9.99 from bestbuy.com!

Good luck on finding that for less than $80. I have this set (Along with all the other Treasures), I would be willing to dupe it for you on DVD. Do you know if your dvd player can play DVD +R or DVD +RW??
Let me know
PS- it's thief

The only set out of the 5 animation sets still easy to find is Behind-the-Scenes, so you might want to grab it while it's still cheap. It is the best set, with all sorts of great stuff on it, even a Goofy short that the Goofy set doesn't have.

Thanks for that tip about Beany&Cecil, rodney. They also have the Puppetoon Movie for $9.99. I don't have either of those, I shall get them soon.

Actually, the Living Color set seems to be the only one that's outrageously expensive usually. I've been told by a fella here at work that a booth at the local flea market has them for about $35. I'm going to try to check that out this weekend. If that doesn't pan out, expect to hear from me, Glenn.

I also have the Mickey Mouse in color set, and will copy it for you if you need me to. BTW, your apex will play dvdr, apex usually plays everything you put in it.

Hmmm....That's really strange wording those websites have. Extremely confusing. So they're just taking $29.69 off the bigger price, making it $119.89? Why didn't they just list that price to begin with? Perhaps they're hoping that someone will buy it and charge it, only later finding out how much it truly costs. Incredible!

If you click on the link to buy it for the lower price, it takes you to amazon.com. That was the original prices of the sets when they were first issued
