Kids'WB! has released information on a new character in X-Men: Evolution. The new character will be the replacement principle for Bayville High, originally seated by Mystique. Kids'WB! describes the new character:
"Edward Kelly is a school administrator who's clearly destined for politics. He can 'read' people well, and has the knack of convincing others to embrace his point of view. Though a bit of a windbag, he is a man of high standards who tenaciously defends his position. That passion wins him a lot of praise.
"Once he moves on from Bayville, he will establish himself as a U.S. Senator from Massachusetts. And once the world is made aware that mutants walk the Earth, he will promote legislation such as the Mutant Registration Act, requiring those with powers of genetic origin to disclose their abilities to the government."
Comics Continuum reports that Principal Kelly's voice is done by Dale Wilson.
