Yup, there are going to be reshoots next month.

Y'know, I'm all for mourning and stuff, as this whole thing was a terrible tragedy, but I think this "out of respect" stuff is starting to get rediculous.

Where did you hear this? It may be a rumor, or the reshoots may have nothing to do with the WTC (they happen all the time in Hollywood).

Ugh....Comics Continuum. Spiderman Hype announced this a few days back. Don't worry thought, reshoots are normal for any film. About 90% of all films need reshoots down the line, so clean up scenes or to get better results. I'm not worried.

Question, though. Why is this the first time I've heard of a reshoot? There have been a few movies I've been following as closely as possible (J&SB being one) and never heard of a reshoot.

Reshoots aren't usually advertised as much, unless they are a high profle movie. Movies like MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE 2 had to do reshoots, but that was kept suprisingly quiet. Reshoots are usually done to improve the movie (see: MALLRATS).
