I wonder, would Justice League be considered a CC?

Well, Samauri Jack isn't considered a Cartoon Cartoon, so I doubt it. The title seems to be an arbitrary one given to the CN all-ages comedies.

For some strange reason, I can imagin Samurai Jack popping out of the CC logo and saying "Cartoon! Cartoons!"

Well I talked with the people at Cartoon Network, and the verdict is a "NO". Neither Samurai Jack or Justice League are considered Cartoon Cartoons.
Dispite us associating all of CN's original shows as Cartoon Cartoons, I think they reserve the title for comedies and wacky cartoons that are truely in the style of the original Hanna Barberra format and spirit. Goofiness before action on CCF. :p

In the style of the original H-B format? I don't know, something like, say, PPG bears precious little resemblance to anything done by H-B up till the days of Cartoon Network. Also, Space Ghost: Coast to Coast and Cartoon Planet, which actually uses classic H-B characters, aren't Cartoon Cartoons either.

Samurai Jack and Justice League might be incorporated into Adult Swim. CN has already moved them from 8-9 to 9-10 PM. Take that with a grain of salt though.
I wonder how long it'll be before Jack is actually HURTING PEOPLE. :)

He won't. I believe it's in the ancient samurai code of honor. Ninjas, on the other hand, don't subbscribe to that ethic, so they do kill. I learned that from the Batman eps with Kirodai Ken. Now if someone did die indirectly by Jack's doing--say, killed by Aku--that'd be different. But he'd be very torn up about it....

Justice League in adult swim? That is an interesting concept, but I don't think they should. I saw just keep the show where it is for now. Maybe a couple "special" episodes could air that late, though...

Yeah, but PPG is closer to the classic HB than something like SGC2C. PPG and Dexter can be easily enjoyed by kids, even though some of the jokes will go over their heads. For Birdman and SGC2C, they'd have a lot more trouble understanding the humor. JL (I'm assuming) and Samurai Jack also seem to be aimed at a higher age group.
They don't have the characters pop out and say "Cartoon Cartoons" at the beginning of the show to impress adults.

I spoke with a CN rep back in August on the subject of this thread and he confirmed what CartoonFridays posted earlier. I also asked if either show would be incorporated into Adult Swim, and he said no. But there was a chance that one or both of them might appear as part of Toonami, but that would be only in the case of a "special event". Neither show will have a regular spot in the Toonami lineup.
SJ and JL are separate entities from CN's other programming blocks, and as of August, there were no plans to "name" a new programming block just for the two shows.

Eh, "Adult Swim," "Toonami" and "Cartoon Cartoon" are mostly arbitrary labels; I wouldn't look for rhyme or reason in what gets classified in what ways.
(Though it must make for some interesting, quasi-theological discussions out there: Should SJ fit into one of those categories and if so, which one should it be?)
Personally, I'm glad that it's mostly arbitrary. The last thing I want is to see CN deciding to manhandle a show like JL, SJ, SGC2C or PPG just so they can wedge it into some pre-conceived category like "Cartoon Cartoon" or "Adult Swim."

That reminds me Gookie, the next time you speak with CN, I'd suggest the name "Toonami Prime" to them for the Samurai Jack/Justice League block.

Toonami Prime, I like that. It fits pretty nicely! I'm glad their won't be any "labels" on the show. I don't like it when they have lame commercial bumpers for the show. I just wanna see the show. :)

I don't care what slot they put it in (as long as it isn't a CC) just as long as it is on.

Next on Toonami Prime:
Samurai Jack, followed by Justice League.
Only Toonami.
