We've been getting an influx lately, so LFV has taken it upon himself to revise our FAQ. Unfortunately, due to a Toon Zone-wide announcement, you guys don't know it's there. So I'd like to ask all new users to please take a moment to click on the "System Freezes" announcement and scroll down; you'll find our rules and regs right there.
Or, you could just click here for the FAQ. (http://forums.toonzone.net/announcement.php?forumid=67)
EDIT - F.A.Q. just revised a teeny bit. This thread is now open to comments and suggestions.
Regards,
Matt Williams

Nice work. A lot of the old info is still intact, but married with some newer, more recent stuff. Just as it should be.
we'd like to keep discussion of Adult Swim anime like YYH and Inu Yasha on this boardHeh. Maybe a little more revising to do before turning in for the night? ;)
These are general guidelines to help you become liked and admired here at the forums. Maybe someday you will work up the ranks and become RULER OF THE WORLD!!! And they'll make little plush toys of you that don't even LOOK like you!One can only hope.

NO TALKING ABOUT DOWNLOADING EPISODES!!!
We will not allow any talk about downloading episodes, where to get them, or even discussion of the programs involved. Talk about any kind of illegal downloading is..well, illegal on all TZ forums. Yep, click on that button called Rules. It's banned.
Any posts about them will be editted and closed.
Man, I wish it was like that on all of the other boards I go too....
TZ forums = teh best.

to be honest. i sort of wish we could. but the TZ higher ups are strict about that rule. i dont have a problem with it though.

Well, at the other boards, (GameFAQs) Some people ask where to get anime and then people say "go download it, it's free."
I just get fed up with people telling other people to do stuff that rips others off....
EDIT: *Notices user title*...I meant money wise.

Well, at the other boards, (GameFAQs) Some people ask where to get anime and then people say "go download it, it's free."Yeah, that is pretty irritating. Makes me want to reach through the "intraweb" and slap the person on the other end.
On the flip side, fansubs are a different issue entirely, though it seems TZ's mods (more specifically, the Anime Forum's) are a little bit more lenient when it comes to that sort of thing. Still can't discuss the "how you acquired it" part, I don't believe.

2) How many posts do I need to get an avatar, and where can I get one?
10 posts, and you can get yourself an AS avatar from here. We've lost track of which avatars in that post are in use, so just grab an avatar if you see one that you like and don't think that it's being used by someone else, regardless of whether it's listed as "in use" or not.
I don't think you need to have any posts to have an avatar anymore.
Also, maybe Eltingville should be added to the FAQ. It seems like questions about whether it's becoming a series or not pop up everytime a newbie joins.

I want this anime on Adult Swim Comedy! It\'s funny!
Small nitpick...kill the "\".
EDIT: "Fixed" -livingfruitvirus
Also, possible suggestion, since I have a feeling this might come up...something about "Bebop should come back on the air/Why did it leave?"

14. So since this is the AS board, I get to swear all of the time, right? Yay! Swearing is cool!
I don't care much, so long as you keep the language to the exact same standards as AS and don't try to go around the word censor. This includes using *'s to cover part or most of your cursing. It has to be completely censored. <b>The only word included in the censor that I don't care about is the "B-word," and that's because it's included on AS.</b> Also, use your common sense. Don't assume that it's OK say anything lewd or nasty just because the actual words aren't removed by the censor. REMEMBER: NOTHING WORSE THAN WHAT YOU HEAR ON AS. And if you try using the same language on other Toon Zone boards that you use here, you will probably get your ass kicked, so keep that in mind.
The <b></b> in that should probably be changed to vB code. ;)

Speaking of censoring and red text, I made this yesterday:
