If you're going to start another thread themed about movie posters... I don't see too much of a problem (Im not a mod here though) BUT... I really think you should have posted something before starting an empty, pointless thread up here... these dont last long. All you did was start an empty thread.

Heh, but Lil' Joker doesn't know that. Easy mistake to make, understandable. *grins* It doesn't have to be an empty pointless thread, unless you make it that. Maybe Lil' Joker is just planning to post their picture here cause they didn't make the deadline.

And there are a few of us who like the idea a lot, and would like to show our work that we didn't get in on time. I am not a mod, we all know that. But I don't see what is wrong with Lil' Joker posting his picture here. :)

But she is right Lil' Joker, the contest is over. You can still post your pic, we would love that (I would love that). People do that all the time. :) But the contest ended on the 25, sorry to confuse you. And still please post your work:)!!

Yeah, it doesn't have to be in a contest in order for you to post a pic that may have a very similar topic. Just please actually post your pic in your first post in a thread so we have something to look at, that's all. :)

Being the mod that was in charge of the contest...

I dont mind a spin-off thread based on the Open. Hell, might be worth doing! It wouldnt have the same pressure as the Open when it came to the deadline. The only concern I have is that it'll just be something that no one will pay attention to.

(as a side note, the fact of spin off of a movie you'll never seen is even more insane :D )

Besides, I think Delia still has a few ideas up her sleeves that she wants to take a crack at. :p

I kind of like the idea. I know several people mentioned that they wanted to do a movie poster but because of school and other time resraints couldn't. This would give them a chance to post their pics even though they wouldn't get judged. Hey, I know I had several ideas but because they all came to me at the same time, three days before the deadline I only had a chance to do one. I like the idea.

Oh, and we all know the Delia has at least a couple dozen more up her sleeve. ;)

Heck, this might be something to try on the drawing board. Have a thread where people post similiar pics, wouldn't be a contest just a fun thing. I don't know I'm just thinking out loud here. I do that a lot on message boards. ;)
