do you find yourself daydreaming about batman/superman/beyond during the day at random times. i think we talked about this a while back, but today, maybe from lack of sleep, i found myself in class just reciting lines from worlds finest (which i watched last night) in my head and quietly out loud, and actually laughing at them. sort of psycotic.

"I want a cheese sandwich"

"what ever posessed me to trust that clown"

"now thats funny"

"not clown, joker"

"here's for that puch in the face"

"who knows, making haha with harley quinn"

"swell mr. L"

"oh, she had a little acident"

"on a lighter note, joker accomplise harley quinn was sent back to arkam asylum for another round of rehabilitation"

"oh silly me, i forgot the acid"

"i'll get quinn, you take luthor"

and so on and so on....in my head, all day.....can someone say, um.....OBSESSED!!!!!

WHAT ABOUT YOU?

Usually lines dont pop out in my memory, I havent seen BSTAS/BB enough in a while to remember the lines, but images come into my mind a lot.
Like in BB, when Terry was fighting the fat guy's psychic powers
In Over the Edge where Batman is reaching out to Commish Gordon and Bane throws the big light at them.
In Mad Love, where Harley decides she's done with Joker, then see's a vase of flowers signed J, and she sighs.
In Apokolips now, when Superman & co. defeat Darkseid, and Darkseid says "every victory has it's price" (well there's one quote) and then beams Turpin, and Superman destroys the Apokolips tank. That was really, really sad. And so on and so on.

A lot of times, I'll just start thinking about how cool it would be if I were Batman or what I would do if I had a Batarang or a Bat grappling hook. Invariably, it's during one of my classes and I wind up wondering why my profs always skip large chunks of info. Then I realize the importance of paying attention.

--do whole scenes from movies/shows in voice. Particularly Cleatus Kump in The Nutty Professor and Fat Bastard in Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me. Not to mention classic Looney Tunes bits. Now that is frightening. "I'm bringing home a baby bum...ble...beee...do da do da doo da doo doo doo doo doo...."

Since this thread is sort of should be on the Justice League board, I'll be moving it over there. And don't worry, man. I try and slip phrases into my everday discussions as well. You'd be suprised how well they sometimes fit.

I just recently saw the first episode that Bane came out and i couldn't stop laughing when he was fighting Batman and said " scream my name!" "Beg for mercy!", i just started laughing. I have missed lot's of Batman the animated series episodes espicially the new ones. So when I saw that episode it just makes me lauggh. They really messed up Bane:)

All the time man. I go through eps in my head, recite lines, picture what i'd do if i were a superhero... the whole lot! That's just one of the cool things about us Batfans!:p

Oh, yeah, I'm big on that. I do try to contain myself however. But one time, after watching MOTP way too many times, I just blurted out "I think my party's been disconnected!" My mom thought I was very weird...

Some days are worse (better?) than others when it comes to quoting lines or wondering what it would be like to be Supes or Bats. I tend to get too in depth at times, like, if I was Superman, where would my clothes go when I had to change into Supes? If I was Batman, could I really swing anywhere in the city I wanted to and if so, would there be Bat-equipment stuck in buildings everywhere (and how much cable could I carry around with me, anyway)? As Superman, how hard would it be to be Clark Kent and not destroy normal, everyday things on accident because of super-strength. Then there's the whole X-ray vision thing...
Then there's the quotes. The cool superhero poses. Always seeming to be in the general area of a disaster of some kind.
Ok, I should stop now...

RAMPAGE

Rampage's bro here.

After watching countless hours of Batan cartoons, especially ROTJ, I do a mean Joker voice! Even Rampage says it sounds awfully close to Mark Hamill. If only I could do that laugh...

Anyway, once during a practice with my band, we were taking a break. The mike was standing there all alone, so on an impulse I grabbed it and said in my joker voice, "Hello Gotham! Joker's back in town!" I think I scared the crap out of anyone listening. Rampage was pretty angry, so I quickly followed it up with J-Man's "Evenin' boys and girls! Who's up for some laughs?" but I still used the Joker voice.

I usually do lines when appropriate, such as the MOTP "disconnected" line when I really do get cut off on the phone. Here are other lines that have become a normal part of my speech:

"Hero time!"

"A brave new world, that has such yutzes in it." (I have the editted version)

"...secrets that are mine alone to know."

Coincidentally those are all ROTJ lines.

Every once in a while, when it fits the situation, I'll say a line from a comic or tv. The ones I use the most are from Deadpool (the comic, not the crappy movie with Jim Carry and Clint Eastwood, man did that suck!) :)
