With the way they've been treating Fronteir, who knows? I still don't see why they don't move it from UPN to a more mainstream network. Heck, disney's just been god-awful lately....Someone should write them.

I don't expect movies 4-7 to get a US release.

Me either, but, I MIGHT see them going to straight to video sometime. Still, that doesn't seem possible.
Move Digimon from UPN to ABCFamily or ABC Kids for god's sake!

I doubt any of them will come out. 02 and Tamers are long gone, so those 3 movies'll never come out. And Frontier's almost over, then no more Digimon anime. The only one that has a remote chance is the most recent movie, but even that will probably not happen.

Ha ha very funny it is one of the worst so far the english version sucks alot the japanese version is SLIGHTLY better but it is it's fault season four was the end and there is still a chance in a few years we might get season 5 the contract is still good for 2 more season untill then digimon will only go on in manga form.

Of course, lets not let others have their own opinion. :p
Anyway... I think I heard something about Disney's contract with UPN requiring to have a certain amount of new episodes to send to them per season... or something like that. Not entirely sure. But from what I remember reading, that's the reason Digimon's on UPN for this season.
I imagine Digimon will be put back on ABC Family by the fall when the animation block is cut from UPN.

Personally, I think the best case scenario right now would be that Bandai finally realize that Digimon is one of their properties, make some sort of deal with Disney, and then release all four seasons like they have with "Ronin Warriors" with both the dub version and the original sub version. But then again, Bandai was able to do it with Ronin Warriors only because it was a Sunrise show. Digimon...well, its Toei, but Bandai was the ones who spun it off from their Tamagotchi line in the first place! Then again, there is what ADV is doing with Sailor Moon, another Toei show....
As for the movies, unless some sort of deal is made, who knows when, if ever, they will be released stateside. Personally, I wouldn't mind them doing Movie 6 myself. (my second-favorite one after Movie 2)

Mine too, I just recently got to see 6, and I really liked it, especially Ruki's song...so nice. ^_^

If you look at the latest batch of new episodes, you'll see they changed that for Frontier. ^_^

Is that the one with Chocomon and Veemon making the kids younger and beating everyone to a pulp? I downloaded it off Kazaa once and didn't understand a bit of it.
Anyway, they won't dub that because 02's old news.

The one you are thinking of is Movie 3: Digimon Hurricane Touchdown! Supreme Evolution! The Golden Digimentals!!! It's completely edited version was in Digimon: The Movie.
I really want to see Movies 4 and 6 in English.

NO
I'm sure Disney has no intentions of ever releasing any movies from their anime properties. (not including Ghibli films)

For those who don't know:
-Movie 4: The second 02 movie, it is a semi-sequel to the second film, "Bokura no War Game" (the one with Diablomon and Omegamon/Omnimon) involving....well, its my least favorite film so don't take it from me. But yes, this is the movie with the infamous "Imperialdramon Paladin Mode".....
-Movie 5: Tamers movie the first, where Takato goes to Okinawa to see his cousin (who actually appeared towards the end of the series, so its not like you haven't seen him), we have "another" Omegamon, not to mention a new Digimon formed from the remnants of Apocalymon of the Adventure dimension, and a guardian Digimon who is one part connected to the guardian beast of Okinawa, yet connected to a entity that is similar in nature to one of those dumb "Bonzi Buddies".
-Movie 6: The second Tamers movie, which in this case explains a bit more about Ruki's little parenting predicament. (but not too much) Plus, we have a train Digimon (no, not a Trailmon, those are Frontier only) getting possessed by an evil parasite entity (not to mention Ruki) and all around action and emotion. (not to mention a bit of confusion: there are a few people out there who think this takes place in the main Tamers timeline, yet I say if you understand the ending and other things, it can't be!)
-Movie 7: The sole Frontier movie (the franchise was not as big in Japan by this point), it involves a conflict between human and beast Digimon and the children going between the two to try and stop it. And, yes, two Ancient Digimon do show up in this film.

It's too bad the Tamers movies never came out, I have them on my computer and they're pretty good. Animation's kinda lame on #6, though, but still a good movie.
And the first 2 Adventure movies are pretty damn good, Saban ruined them. The first one's a cute story, almost like something Miyazaki would do.

I'm happy with the fact that I have movies 6 and 7 on DVD and that I saw the other movies subbed, so in my opinion, I really don't care if Disney dubs it...
...that and...come on. The angst Ruki went through, the amazing BGM during Imperialdramon PM's birth and the angst in movie 5 would ALL be killed by Disney...
...what about movie 7? Well, I suppose the apperance of the 2 ancient digimon, but honestly, it was kinda lackluster. Still good, but the worst of the 7 in my opinion.

I would love to see the remaining movies released, if for no other reason than to see further adventures of the Tamers crew, my favorite Digimon series. Do they show if the digital world was ever restored from the pounding the D-Reaper gave it?

There are some who say that movie 6 takes place after the series, but if you think about it, I think it is an alt-dimension movie similar to what Toei usually does. (the next part does involve a couple Tamers spoilers)
Remember that at the end of Tamers (at least how I saw it), the firewall defense put up by the Wild Bunch not only cut off the power of the D-Reaper, but also of the Digimon. They had to return to the Digital World for good, with the ending of the series only allowing Takato and the others the gateway to see their friends again. Personally, I say that if Movie 6 was in continuity, it would of taken place in the Digital World. But since the Digimon were running about in this movie in the real world (not to mention other problems like Beelzebumon appearing first in his "demonic" mode with Behemoth even though he was good by that point), I consider this an alt-universe that would of taken place around the same time the Tamers were fighting the D-Reaper in the main series.

Though the BGM would very likely be killed, considering what they've allowed in the Tamers & Frontier dubs, I really kind of doubt that the angst would be ripped out. :p
*sigh* Though that idea of Bandai doing what they did with Ronin Warriors would be nice... ...not very likely, but a nice thought, still...
