This movie has aired twice on TNT in the past two days and knowing cable you will probably be able to catch it again. :p Talk about the first outing for Marcus Burnett and Mike Lowrey as we get ready for the sequel on July 18.

I alwasy liked this movie.
It's not deep, but it's fun as hell. And i love the dialog ("Did you hear what I said? i heard what I said cause i was there when i said it!").
Plus i think Smith and Lawrence have a good on screen chemistry.

though a couple parts are sketchy (Lawrence takign time to deliver a one liner when a bad guy has a clear shot at him; Tea Leoni in a couple parts), so i knocked a half star off for that giving it 3 and a half.

Well I actually watched it during one of the TNT showings so of course I had to suffer with the slightly (or extremely I don’t have a clue) edited version. I don’t usually watch movies on TV much anymore, but my Dad thought it sounded good so I went with it.

Smith and Lawrence played off each other really well and the contrast in how their characters lived their lives added an interesting aspect to their relationship.

Joe Pantoliano who is in one out of about every three an average person sees, was pretty good in his supporting role as Captain Howard. Just the right amount of yelling and just the right about of caring.

It was kind of funny how Marcus as “Mike” was trying to explain to Julie why there were so many pictures of his partner “Marcus” with all those pictures of Mike in the apartment. :D

The on-foot and car chase to save Julie after she was kidnapped was fast-paced and upped the intensity to just the right level.

The secretary Francine being the crooked cop’s girlfriend was an interesting twist to tie everything together at the end.

Bad Boys didn’t make a huge impression on me, but it was pretty good and I should really try to see the “regular” version.

I've seen both versions and i must mention that they cut one of the best parts.

Remember the tall hacker they used? Well ya know how Marcus is bugging him and then he stends up and stuff..where they cut out this great shot from the hackers POV where he is jsut loking straight down on Marcus and Marcus is like "Man you better sit your ass down before i knock you the hell out!" Or somehting like that.

As a short person that scene made me laugh like crazy.
They cut lots of stuff though.
