Nelson~
I hate to say this buuuuut you may have a hard time with this poll, since so few people have seen the H & J toons anytime recently (or even at all)... Let's hope I'm wrong and some answer and vote.

Out of the listing, I would have to say "Magpie Madness" is one of the funnier H & J 'toons.
My favorite, which isn't on the list, is a tie between "Hair Cut-Ups" (H & J are barbers and do short work on Dangerous Dan) and "Free Enterprise" (H & J are arrested by Officer Dimwit for selling drills to convicts at the prison).

I went for Hula Hula Land since this cartoon is a classic H&J short....
The Best part in this cartoon is where Dimwitt has to get rid of their hot dog stand, and Heckle tricks Dimwitt into buying some hot dogs. While Heckle keeps pulling out the hot dog from the bun, Dimwitt can't tell the diffrence, as he keep saying...
Eh, give another one, another one, another one, really fast..So funny :D :D :D

Ahhhh, it's good to see I'm wrong about getting a vote on best H & J. I didn't vote. The Terrytoon titles have long blurred in my memory, due to the lack of real full credits to associate the individual toons with. One of those things...

I voted for "Hula Hula Land" too. Another great gag is Dimwitt giving the police chief a box of Cracker Jacks, getting socked by the boxing glove, and seeing Dimwitt there hula dancing, with a real girlish smirk on his face. Pure gold. :)

--we're speaking of the classic shorts and not the '70's-era Filmations, correct? They used to run those on TV Land a couple of years back (as well as Mighty Mouse and Quackula, who looked like a badly-animated vampire Donald). Can't say those impressed me much, though Pearl Pureheart was a pretty litttle thing...

Yes, we're talking about the Terrytoons, not the crappy Filmation assembly-line garbage that was spewed out back in the late 1970's. Those are soooooo bad I wouldn't even list them as cartoons!
