Network executives have been becoming a bit more observent to the content of their shows, and are watching for anything that may be sensitive towards children in light of the recent WTC tragedy. According to the L.A. Times, Kids'WB! and Cartoon Network will be two of the networks editing content from their shows.

Kids'WB! will be editing out a segment from an old episode of Cubix. A scene in an old episode of Cubix provoked executives to prohibit any rebroadcasts. In the episode, a "fantastical structure" collapses.

"The image of the building falling and the smoke rising is something we feel uncomfortable with," said Donna Friedman, the network's executive vice president.

Kids'WB! also shelved the final episode of Batman Beyond, which was scheduled to air on September 14th, to a now unspecified date. It is unlikely the episode will air on that network. Unmasked dealt with a terrorist organization named Kobra kidnapping a child to get to Batman.

In an upcoming episode of Cartoon Network's Grim & Evil, the show's villian points an oversized stink gun at New York and emits a stink gad which clouds the city. Occupants of the World Trade Center would then proceed to jump off the building and into water. New Yorkers would scatter in the steets. That episode had to be majorly reworked and now may not even air. Executives at the network said the revised episode has no air date in the near future.
