What comic book character would you like to see done in a animated series or movie for AS? For me, I would like to see the Punisher.

Sam and Max.

Sam and Max.

Second that.

I'd like to see some DC stuff for adults, such as Sandman. Also, I'd adore it if Slave Labor did something with AS. SQUEE! Is probably the best idea, but maybe Roman Dirge could also do something with CN. Or even Andi Watson. It's unlikely, but not impossible. After all, Evan Dorkin did Eltingville, and he also worked on Dork 5 for SLG. Lastly, I'd actually like something from Frank Cho. (Liberty Meadows)

None of them.

I don't want to see any American "action" cartoon on AS. They're usually inane.

Just because some are inane doesn't mean they're all inane.

Just because some are inane doesn't mean they're all inane.

80 percent of them are. Name a good American action show.

Batman: The Animated Series
Superman: The Animated Series
Aeon Flux
The Maxx
Spawn: The Animated Series
Samurai Jack
The Powerpuff Girls (MUST we debate this?)
Low Brow

Technically, Low Brow hasn't aired as a series yet, only as a 6 minute short, so you don't know if it will be a good american action SHOW. It probably will be, I'm just being really technical. Too bad most good action american shows are made so that children can watch them (except for Spawn, Aeon Flux and The Maxx) and will never be shown on AS. As for comic book shows that would make good AS shows, I would suggest Crimson or Sandman.

Sam and Max.

Good, good choice. If they can make it that for a children's show, imagine what they could do for Adult Swim.

As for comics, I can see Punisher. Not only would it work well with the new movie coming out, it seems shooters do well on Adult Swim. If they do it right, it could be pretty good, and go over well.

Sam and Max is a good call. I throw Too Much Coffee Man into the pile.

And Batman. Yes, Batman. Just not right now... but someday.

You mean besides Spawn, Spawn, and Spawn? That's easy. Spawn. (-:

A darker, more adult-oriented Batman series done by as many folks from the old Batman: TAS crew as could be gotten back together would rock, too, although that's probably even more of a longshot than Spawn on AS is. (-:

yeah, I would like the deep fried comics to have an animated show on adult swim. That would be cool.

Sam and Max for sure! Maybe a new Tick, gritty Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (truely based on the comics), new original style Batman, and possibly Dare Devil.

TMNT is a long shot, but it would be sweet!

Neil Gaiman's The Sandman,
Garth Ennis's Preacher,
Alan Moore's Promethea,
Bill Willingham's Fables,
and anything else from Vertigo really.

I'm not one for the idea but . . .

I agree that Batman would be nice. However, I believe the show should be MUCH darker than now! (although I do enjoy Batman Beyond)
Something like the first and second Batman movies (Now THOSE where the shiz-nit!) Jack ROCKED as the Joker!

The 3rd and 4th one just sucked major eggs! To much neon and stuff. I'm just scared that's what a new series of Batman would turn out to be.

actually, i thought the joker was the only role jack nicholson didnt play correctly/good. In my opinion the joker should have been much more crazy/insane and deadly. Maybe its just me and batman forever (3) was very entertaining.

Batman Forever was entertaining, but every movie after the first too got a little on the corny side. Frankly I enjoyed Batman and Robin, but it was in truth a pretty awful movie in comparrision.

Daredevil.
A new Batman:TAS made for the 18-34 crowd.
A new X-Men: TAS ' ' ' '

That's pretty much what I was going to say.

-Planetary: 26 issue series=26 episodes. Warner Bros. already has a live-action TV adaptation in the works (but it's been in pre-production since '99, so it's probably never gonna happen)
-X-Statix
-Powers: It's one of the best noir comics ever made. It would be animation's answer to CSI
-Hate!: A few years back Pete Bagge was working on an animated series based off "Hate!" for MTV, but it never went anywhere. It's probably be a good fit for AS
