Well, from what I have read here we'll be seeing the Manhunters (from my favorite JLA storyline) as well as the Injustice Gang; but I would really like to see the Royal Flush Gang, Kanjar Ro, The Key, Dr. Destiny, and many of the classic bad guys that just haven't seen the light of day in too long. Sure they can be silly, but certainly no sillier than an egg baby!

I'm very anxious to learn more about this show and the villains as well...I'll be sure to keep checking this thread for information. Admittedly...I'm not acquainted with the concept of this show yet...I take it that it is a sort of spinoff from "The Call"?

Cheers

The show will be set in the future, I believe some time between where Batman/Superman left off and before Batman Beyond begins....unless the shows creators made a mistake. On the episode of BBeyond "The Call" You notice Superman was starting to grey, but Superman still appears to be young on the new JLA series...I have not kept up with the comic book story line but thats what I gather from watching the animated series. Look for it this fall on Cartoon Network's Toonami.

Good grief! I nearly forgot about The Construct. Deus ex Machina! Now there's a villain! Anyone remember him?

--the Reverse Flash and Turtle Man. Just curious to see how they'd handle these villians, who I don't think have ever been in an animated series before.http://cwm.ragesofsanity.com/otn/evil/diablos.gif I mean, the Joker's great, but it seems I've seen about ten million incarnations of The Clown Prince of Crime. The same with Brainiac (I presume he'll be a killer androidhttp://cwm.ragesofsanity.com/otn/evil/overlord.gif http://cwm.ragesofsanity.com/otn/evil/death2.gif http://cwm.ragesofsanity.com/otn/evil/bgfrown.gif , if he appears in the JL series, rather that a whacked-out carny hypnotist?) or Luthor. Where there's Flash, there should be worthy villians--my biggest gripe of Flash's appearance on Superman was that while I liked seeing Big Red, the Weather Wizard was sort of a lame villain (a similar bad guy appeared on Max Steel).http://cwm.ragesofsanity.com/otn/evil/bgbiggrin.gif

I dunno about R'as,but Timm did say that they'd have Darkseid play a prominent role in the second season.

i read something on one of these boards that part of the first season and almost all of the second would happen in outer space.
if they did use Ras i would like to see an adaptation of the story from the JLA comic where he steals batmans files on how to destroy each member of the team.
