Anyone use to watch a Fox Kid's show called Mad Jack The Pirate?

I loved this show, it was one of the better shows Fox aired in the last 5 years. Downright hillarious.

It was okay. It looked better in retrospect, but if it was airing now, most of you here probably wouldn't give it that much thought.

It had a sarconic, surreal charm, like Ripping Friends and its Thunderlizard/Eek predecessor. Favorite eps are the one with the Hanna-Barbarians, with a Scooby clone and several Fred and Barney-ish savages, and the one where Jack is tortured by a former teacher of his. His first mate gets an A...and Jack tells him at the very end what it stands for (partially blanked out with a foghorn sound effect). I laughed till I fell out of my chair....
