And now, they're showing PUSS N' TOOTS!!! I missed the first cartoon in the Tom and Jerry block tonight, though. I bet that was a rare T&J too, but hopefully I already have it on tape if it was rare. Did anybody catch the first one?

I happened to tape last night's T & J show. The program was:

"Puss Gets The Boot" w/redubbed Mammy
"Sleepy-Time Tom" w/redubbed Mammy
"Puss & Toots" w/ redubbed Mammy; edited

--not too long ago "Ol' Rocking-Chair Tom" aired. Maybe CN is loosening up (though in the same show was a mediocre Jones and a miserable Dietch).

I really wouldn't bet on it. It seems as though CN has relegated the T & J 'toons with the redubbed Mammy to the wee hours which is a shame.

Mammy is one of my favorites. Through a trade with someone here at TTTP, I recently acquired a whole tape of T & J shorts with Mammy direct from laserdisc! Some of these I hadn't seen in years! These cartoons are wonderful and to not be able to watch them in their true form is censorship, pure and simple.

To be perfectly honest, censorship blows!!
