I cannot believe this! First they announce Earthbound 2 to be announced on N64, and they cancel it. Now I hear of the original Earthbound remake on GBA, and Earthbound 2 on Game Cube, but it turns out it's not true! Oh, when will my birthday come?

let me get this straight...nintendo has now decided to not remake the games at all? i know they were diffenently planning on releases them both on gameboy advance over in the land of the rising sun, but speculation as to whether or not they'd come state side was high. but, now nintendo has decided to cancel this? where do you get your sources, skarr? you could include the article where you found this info

Nintendo was going to include both Mother 1 and Earthbound in a collection for the GBA, last I heard. I haven't seen anything to tell me otherwise.

It wasn't an article. Someone on Game FAQs said it.

Well, except fpr that Mew code ;), but yeah, most of the time don't listen to gamefaqs posters unless they have definate proof.
It's coming out June 20 in Japan, so far there is no plans for a USA release.
