[QUOTE='Martin Juneau']The Aristo-Cat (WB, 1943)
Back when cj WAS a true genius, one of his funniest.
BTW (Y'know, Keith Scott, Graham Webb,etc.if you're on her efeel free to correct but Mark Evanier, who passedf this info longh ago, gave you guys credit!
Cast:
Hubie:Michael Maltese
Bertie:Ted(d) Pierce
The Cat:Mel Blanc
Meadows the Butler:Mel Blanc
The woman of the house:Mel Blanc(yes, it's HIM, not Bea Benaderet,say)Bulldog: Mel Blanc

"My...it's an awfully large mouse isn;t it?".Wrongly listed as Stan Frberg's debut,he isn't even in this but would voice one of the mice much later, but H&B's foist,yeah,yeha,Hubie.

I would create my OWN CJ dream show with this and two other underrateed gems:
"Egg Collector"(Sniffles)
"Chow Hound"(Chow Hound,cat,mouse,various humans)-preferbaly uncut,of course (I have an uncut version from Oct.8,2000), shown after "Unruly Hare" and the abovementioned "Artisto-Cat", which is not the Disney film..:).

"Mighty healthy way for a rodent to talk".."Don'tforget the gravy!"Too bad Jones ain't remebered for these true classics or eeven for the Dover Boys even though that one IS in the Jerry Beck book 50 gretatest. Biugshot S.W.Worth (sounds like a Woolworth knockoff name!) has said rightly that folks know CJ only from the later, WHAT'S OPER DOC,("Magic Helmet") ALI BABA BUNNY ("Hassan Chop!") period.
