Who was the better cartoon duo?
Monotonous, isn't it?

I don't know this is kind of hard. I guess I'll go with RR&C (the Jones' years, of course). Yeah, they used the same basic format for each cartoon, but I always like it, and the gags are always funny.
Sylvester and Tweety were good, too, but not really my favorites.

I would have to go with Sylvester and Tweety. I find the Wile E Coyote and Roadrunner shorts to be quite boring. Every short is the same setting, plot, etc.

I voted for Sylvester and Tweety.
First reason being that they gave WB their first oscar winning cartoon(Tweety Pie).
I think RR&WE.C get quite repetive after ahile :(

I picked Wile E. Coyote & Road Runner!

I picked Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner too. I've never seen a cartoon of theirs I didn't like.

I also went with Coyote & Road Runner, although it was a tough call.
I guess I've always been a big fan of the Road Runner shorts. As others have pointed out, it's the known fact that he'll NEVER catch the road runner that makes you continue to watch the cartoons. I don't find the series repetitive at all. Maybe the plots and settings are always the same but the GAGS are always new and that's what matters to me.

I cast a write-in vote instead, for possibly the least appreciated non-WB cartoon duo of all (no, not Herman & Katnip!) -- Terrytoons' Heckle & Jeckle! Never before, and never again, was the assembly line-shackled Terry crew blessed with a pair of characters whose storyboard-given personalities would inspire its animators and voice artists alike to bring forth a series with audience appeal of 110% (and that would go on to make many of the made-for-TV cartoon characters look anemic when viewed side by side). Plus, H&J made a great Groucho and Harpo in at least one blink-and-you-missed-it scene (see "Out Again, In Again"). There's just that one nagging question that Leonard Maltin could not answer, and that I'm still puzzling over: Which magpie was Heckle, and which one was Jeckle?

I agree that this was a HARD choice. In the end, I voted for Tweety and Sylvester.

Roadrunner and Wile E! There was always I new way to trick Wile E. to falling off the cliff! Plus, the two had good Latin names. That alone gives them a new notch in my book.

By far, it's Road Runner and Wile E., simply because there are more ACME gags used to give the coyote headaches.

This wasn't even a hard choice to make...I picked Road Runner and Coyote.
