I just was looking at some of the post about Bozo being taken off "The Popeye Show" to but to work on another project.Bozo, I would personally like to thank you for all the hard work, time and effort into restoring the classic Popeye cartoons in their original form and for presenting these cartoons to a new generation of cartoon fans.I wish you all the best, in whatever new project that you may be currently working on and just hope it's with classic theatrical cartoons.

I secoind the motion. Restoring the original titles to the Popeye cartoons is something I've wanted to see done for 30 years, so I'm certainly glad that someone with the ability to do so -- along with others at Cartoon Network who supported the project -- allowed it to finally happen. Bozo deserved a lot of credit for doing it as well as possible, to the point of restoring even the difficult-to-find oddball titles like "Wotta Nightmare" and "Customers Wanted" to their original form.
Now about those pre-49 Blue Ribbon Warner Bros. cartoons... :)

I started to second Nelson's tribute to Mr. Bozo a while ago. Even though I'm down the list a ways I want to add words of praise for Bozo for everything he did for our favorite spinach-gobbling sailor... Now if Mr. Bozo could have just gotten Popeye's eyes fixed so he could've SEEN Olive clearly...:)
Barring that, if the ownership tangle of Segar's characters could just be worked out once and for all and these lovingly restored toons finally be released to video... Maybe Bozo can work on that aspect for some good effect...

I want to thank eveyone who worked on this show. This is a wonderful show, and I hope it continues in re-runs for some time. Come on, CN! 45 episodes is more than some Cartoon Cartoons and you show those nightly!

The Popeye Show is the only thing I watch on CN, and it's something that I look forward to every Sunday night (especially now that they're re-airing episodes that I didn't get to see before). It's a great program, and you can really see the care that was put into the restoration of these cartoons.
I can't wait to see what's going to be next!

I agree wholeheartedly. The Popeye Show was and is what we need to see more of on Cartoon Network, and on other channels for that matter. Bozo did a wonderful job, and the show itself reflected the care and effort he and others put into it. I really enjoyed the Popeye show and the Bob Clampett Show before it, and I hope that whatever future projects our friend Bozo is involved with will continue the trend. I hope CN realizes the importance of this show and makes an effort to do others like it. Maybe they can hire Bozo to clean up the mess that is the Chuck Jones Show...with all the information about Chuck Jones and with all the appreciation of his work that's out there, surely SOMEBODY can give a show about him the Popeye/Clampett treatment. A really cool animated show opening does not a good director tribute make...people like Bozo and their informational writing do.
