I know I may be overdoing it a bit with all these comic covers, but I really think they look great and could spark some good discussion. I'll try and pace myself a bit more on this :)

Which villians can you pick out on the cover simply by their weapons?

Well, I definitely see Clayface and Riddler. ooohhhhh, I hope its the Riddler, we haven't seen him lately. We have seen clayface too much lately. Plus Riddler has never liked Joker, so he could be after Quinn...
Is this the issue coming out next month??

Yup! It is the cover to Batman: Gotham Adventures #43, due out in October! Here's the description:
Written by Scott Peterson and Tim Levins; art by Levins and Terry Beatty; cover by Bob Smith and Beatty.
Who's out to get Harley Quinn? Batman has to take her on as a sidekick to find out. The answer awaits deep in Harley's history...that is, if she and the Dark Knight survive the traps set for them all over Gotham.
32 pages, $1.99, arrives in stores on Oct.24.

That sounds good!! Maybe this could be the issue that brings B:GA out of its slump, followed by the TwoFace story. This comic has really dissapointed me lately and I hope it gets back on track soon!

Hmm..well, looks like a good issue, and I see hints of:
Riddler
Two-Face
Mr. Freeze
I see Bud and Lou (her hyenas)
Clayface
Two-Face...and that's all I can pin-point right now..:)

I think that I can see the Scarface's (the Ventriloquist's little buddy) machine gun. Could the arrows be Poison Ivy? She has that little hand crossbow. I wonder if all of those characters will be in the comic. I hope it's not Mr. J after her, that's too obvious. Poison Ivy could be after her for some reason, since they have a history.

I see
Mr. Freeze
Poison Ivy
Joker
Clayface
Riddler
and some machine guns. These could belong to a number of villians, imo.
Comic sounds great btw!

Hey, I'm just glad they're using more well know villains than "Joe's". It should be like that most of the time anyway...

I hear ya. The big dissapointment in Peterson's run besides...well...everything else is that he uses alot of no name villians, which doesn't help the story at all!

Personally I'm convinced Peterson has no idea how to handle some of these notorious bad guys. His fling at doing a Freeze story made it plain that he can't write a decent, coherent and entertaining story that suits the villain well.

His Freeze story was a joke and insult to fans. Freeze having a CRUSH on Talia? Now that sentence right there shouldn't exist. Plus, it follows nothing that was set up in BGA #5 aside from the new costume. Peterson has no clue about these villians. I bet next we we see Poison Ivy, she'll be a bad girl who makes people itch.
