Due to geographic difficulties, I unfortunately can't make it there. However, I'm definately going to be picking this issue up on "Free Comic Book Day"... for the first time ever I'm going to enter a comic book store, and I'm doing it just for BATMAN ADVENTURES #1. I can't wait to read this issue, and from what I've heard it is really cool.

Dan- the #1 talkback thread is closed, so I'd just like to congratulate you here on producing a great, great book. I didn't know that someone could illustrate so much about Batman's character and have so much fun in a short five pages.
I hope that you and the rest of the creative team stick with the book for a long time- this looks like it could be a very memorable ride.

Actually, Disneyboy... Ty's doing TWO signings in Canada on FREE COMIC BOOK DAY! Sheesh! Whatta guy! (He tells me he's doing one as Ty, The Writer, and another as Ty, The Artist)!

Steel, glad our free comic lure worked! (Now let's see if we can hook you enough to come back for issue #2!)

finster, thanks for the kind words. I had a fun time on the five pagers for the first four issues (#3's my favorite). Just the other day, though, I turned in my first lead feature plot (for #5)... and boy, did I like having those 12 extra pages! I CAN'T WAIT till you guys see THAT one! It's just chock full of "OH!" moments-- for DCU fans, Bat-fans, and Adventure Universe fans!
