Well, there's a whole thread on this subject already - you might want to check it out. The movie is still coming out. The trailer with the web between the WTC towers was a scene made specifically for the trailer - it was never a scene in the movie.

what?! no wonder a movie trailer can get people to watch it if they have a lotta scenes with cool action in the trailer that isn't IN the movie itself!

We have no word on whether the trailer will be reworked, or if this scene will still appear in the movie after the tragic terrorist attack which destroyed the buildings this morning. Sam Raimi had told Spider-Man Hype! a little over a month ago that the scene was indeed in the film.

The scene in the trailer wasn't featured in the fil;m. That scene was specifically created for the film. I think there may be a scene or two from the teaser trailer in the film (like Spidey web-sligning) but the whole bank robbery/WTC Towers thing isn't.

That means we were lied to in July. I hate when they do that.

Anyway, I can't say I'm sad to see it out of the flick, if it does indeed get pulled. I mean, it was cool as a teaser, something to get you excited for the movie, but I don't think it was that great as scene in a "bigger picture."

I just hope that this old trailer shows up as an Easter Egg on the DVD. I doubt it would, but I can always hope!

I wouldn't be suprised if it showe dup anywyas. The DVD won't be released until a year from now or so, so it's quite possible they'l stick it back in.
