Seth has an interview on www.atnzone.com (http://www.atnzone.com/tvzone/features/familyguy.shtml)

MacFarlane says the presence of these fans, coupled with strong DVD sales, could spark a Family Guy revival, say in the form of a feature film.

“It’s been discussed, it’s being discussed. This is a property, it’s a fan base that’s very persistent. If the DVD does extremely well... Whether it’s something I’d be fully involved with or involved with as consultant...It’s definitely something that’s a possibility.”

“So if every fan goes out and buys a dozen of the DVDs,” MacFarlane laughs.

By no means is MacFarlane waiting around for The Family Guy to hit the big screen, nor resting on his laurels.

So, it's a possibility, but don't get your hopes up. Let's hope, this would make a GREAT movie.

I would at least like to see FG made into a movie if there were to be no new episodes produced (New Episode production, while a slight possibility, will proably not happen) as a rightful series ender. It could be 90 or so minutes of non-stop laughter and quick jokes and I wouldn't really care, because in the long run, isn't that what Family Guy really is?

Yeah, and just imagine what Seth and crew could do without the network censors standing in their way. Oh the possibilities...

Full frontal cartoon nudity!

That wouldn't be the HALF of it! South Park: BLU never even had full frontal nudity and it remains to this day, the funniest movie I've ever seen. There was just no denying it, I've never in my life laughed harder. Only Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back give it a run for it's money.

But look at how offensive this show was WITH censors!!!

"Aww man, someone shot my John F. Kennedy pez dispenser.....oh well I still have my Robert Kennedy pez dispenser."

I remember that got SO much negative feedback it was astounding. Without any censors, Family Guy Rated R could very well be the most offensive movie ever.

And in a world where EVERYTHING has to be politically correct, I welcome it.

I'll have to disagree. The South Park movie and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back were both horrible

South Park was fine, a movie-sized version of the show (when it was good) hampered slightly by a bloated political statement.

Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back was pretty sad, though. 90 minutes of unfunny sight gags and next to no writing, pretty much the opposite of what made Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, and, to a somewhat lesser extant, Dogma great. It symbolizes Smith's completely giving in to the studios. Instead of attacking the studios, it was just honoring them.

Indeed.

... <---obligatory ellipsis needed to bypass the ten-character limit.

The Beavis and Butthead movie turned out alright. It wasn't the same quality as the TV show, but it was good enough for fans of the series to enjoy.
