All hope for humanity is lost.

But Matt, it combines the excitement of card collection and deck settings with team-based battle tactics!!!!!
As far as exclusives go, it looks like the Playstation2 wins this round from Sega. Neither Otogi or Sega GT Online really interest me for the XBox, and Billy Hatcher is the only of the GC-exclusives that sounds particularly appealing.

Glad to see that Sega is finally sharing the wealth. Good news for all 3 system owners, definitely.
Crap, no new Shinobi. For now....
Damn, I guess this means Sonic loses the little chance he had at being in Super Smash Bros. 3 :(

I'm really hoping this isn't the final list. I doubt it is but I'm still worried. Where's Spike Out Xtreme, VF Quest, Trigun:The Planet Gunsmoke, etc? Don't tell me they've been canned...
Sonic Heroes - PS2, GC, XBox
Billy Hatcher & the Giant Egg - GC
Worms 3D - PS2, GC, XBox, PC
Vectorman - PS2
Headhunter: Redemption - PS2, XBox
Otogi: Myth of Demons - XBox
Altered Beast - PS2
Virtua Fighter 4 Evolution - PS2
Phantasy Star Online Episode III - GC
Virtual On Marz - PS2
Sonic Battle - GBA
Seeing how I'm interested in all those titles (I'm not sure what Dororo and Kuniochi are...) it's still a damn good E3 lineup. I'm STILL ecstatic about Sega publishing Otogi.

I think they're going to lose a lot of loyal PSO fans by making the next one a card game. Card games can be played in person, something that can't be said about hunting monsters. I'm really dissapointed.
They'll probably make it a great card game, but it'll still be just that. A card game. Whoop-dee-freakin'-do.

Depends on what part of the country you live in.
You know E3 is about to be properly kicked off when you're reading about a new Sonic, although I have to say that Sonic Heroes kind of worries me. I can't help but worry that Sega is missing the point. Sonic Heroes has you playing as 3 heroes at once, is being deemed innovative by Sega, and likely features some amount of puzzle-based design. Gee, that's great, but all we've wanted since Sonic Adventure 1 is a straightforward 3D action game. All we've wanted is a gameful of Sonic's leveles from Adventure 2. Yet Sega is going off on some weird backroad. As Matt said, we might be looking at Chaotix 2 here. And if that doesn't scare the crap out of you, then you're just too optimistic for your own good. Kinda frustrating. I just want, to borrow a Warren Harding term, "a return to normalcy" for the series. Oh well...
There's always Sonic Advance 2. And Sonic Battle sounds like a fun, Smash Bros.-esque approach to the character. I look forward to that.
It's Vectorman that I eagerly anticipate seeing, though... hope that one turns out well.

Oh and now that I've heard what Dororo and Kuniochi are, I'm excited about them as well.

Meh, this all worries me. We've got the two mystery Sonic titles finally revealed, one of which appears to be Sonic Smash Bros., and the other appears to be a mix between Chaotix (as said above) and the Lost Vikings. But then, a SSB-esque Sonic title isn't exactly a bad thing, and without screenshots or more info on Sonic Heroes, I can't make much of an assumption on it either. I guess we'll just have to wait and see...I liked my idea better, one Sonic game that was an action game, a proper evolution of the Genesis games, and the other being Sonic Adventure 3, since I enjoy those games as well...
I definetly don't like the looks of PSO ep.III, though...a card-based MMORPG isn't a bad thing, but do it with something else instead of the PSO franchise...I for one like it as it is now, and would rather have ep.III expand on the current gameplay instead of changing it altogether.
But, most of the other stuff sounds good...seeing the Altered Beast and Vectorman franchises being continued is nice, and Otogi being brought over is great...I just wish they'd make another Shining Force game...

 not ALL of us, I LIKED those other stages
I also liked the Hub stages in Adventure 1

The press release was worded something like "including, but not limited to...", so I'd imagine they're saving a few surprises for E3.

Wow...Vectorman looks like Master Chief. Not sure how I feel about that. The game itself is looking pretty cool so far, though. At least, it does from what I can gather from it.

Wicked awsome. Sonic Smash Bros. clone on GBA (it's about time someone made one for GBA... Nintendo dropped the ball here) and the return of Vectorman.
But on VM what the heck are they thinking? He does look like Master Chief... I liked him better as a bunch of balls with plasma shooting hands. Ah well... looks like it could make for good multiplayer. I guess Nintendo isn't the only company taking risks with their franchises these days.
This news have return my faith in Sega for now. It's been a while since they've come out with a really great game. I'm thinking Sonic Battle will end up in my GBA collection evenutally.

Giving Vectorman a regular body would be like giving Rayman limbs. It just ain't right. I guess they thought most people would have been turned off by the spheres-a-plenty look, but they could have made it work if they tried.

Looks like the gameplay could be similar to that of Metroid Prime (probably not in first person though) which could be very interesting.

Vectorman looks like a really good, really fun action game- but not Vectorman. That's cool with me; what's important is that it's a good game, not a perfect revival of the old character. As long it's fun to play, I can't see myself much caring about how V-Man looks.
As for a Rayman with limbs... let's not give Ubi Soft any ideas,

And here I was starting to think that Sega didn't like the PS2 :)

Actually, Kunoichi is the sequel to Shinobi, at least according to Gamers.com.

Vectorman...What did they do to you? Why are you walking around in a generic shooter?
