"Sense and Sense Ability"

The sisters take leave of their (physical) senses, thanks to an enchanted monkey.

The pilfering primate's assault on the unsuspecting witches leaves Piper (Holly Marie Combs) blind, Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) deaf and Paige (Rose McGowan) unable to speak. It's all part of an evil crone's nefarious scheme to kidnap Piper's young son, Wyatt. Once alone with the baby, the woman (Grace Zabriskie) plans to tap into Wyatt's magic so that she can see the future and prepare her demonic superiors for what is to come. In other events, Phoebe attends an important business meeting that could expand her advice column's audience, but she's hindered by her new disability.

This was an ok episode, but othing special.

Wyatt is coming into his powers already and can undestand when they tell him to put his force field up.

What was up with Piper? he is the most maternal sister and yet she doesn't show it anymore.

Where has all of the real threats gone? I mean I want the Charmed Ones and the Charmed One to be in real danger again have them face someone that is as much of a threat as Cole was at first and they need to bring back some form of an underwolrd either another Triad or another Source or something.

I liked any of the times with deaf Phoebe. Watching her trying to decipher what her sisters were saying was just too precious. :)

And that thing with Piper suddenly losing her maternalness did kind of pop out of nowhere. I mean, a few episodes ago she couldn't even bring herself to leave her baby's side, and now can't even read her own child?
And I think that kid is smarter than anybody else on that show. :)

As usual, Paige and Phoebe are totally useless without Piper. They need to give Phoebe something else.

This episode wasn't too bad, the comedic moments saving it.

I agree it seems like all of a sudden she just lost it. I mean even before she became a mother she had that mother feel to her with her sisters and the Fire Starter.

The comedy did save it but I want the real threats to come back. I mean this season has been nothing much really except comedy. I want the danger to come back introduce anothr major player to threaten the sisters and Wyatt.

Phoebe really needs another power. I think the astral projection or something. Whatever power they give her it as to be a hands on power, her visions are few and far between and her levitating is going nowhere.
