I'm just curious, with the talk of Batman: The Animated Series DVDs and all that, just how does the series split-up, season-wise?
Doesn't Season 1 encompass the first 65 episodes, or am I wrong? If so, could someone please explain where the divisions come. Thanks. :)
Also, what's with the episode guide order on this site? I know a totally different order, from Batman Animated, methinks. I'm guessing the one in the book is continuity-wise, and the one on this site is in the production order, yes?

The episode guide on this site is done by the episode number that each episode is stamped with. The BATMAN: ANIMATED book uses original airdates in their guide.

And here's a season break down:

Season 1: 60 eps
Season 2: 10 eps
Season 3: 10 eps
Season 4: 5 eps
Season 5: 13 eps
Season 6: 11 eps

The box set of season 1 is gonna be a huge set of it encompasses the entire first season...

Is there an order to how the Batman Animated Series is supposed to be seen? I know that most of the episodes are open-ended, but some of them seem to go in an order (example: Time Out of Joint would appear some time after See No Evil, since Batman mentions that "we don't have another invisible man running around").

How do the original 85 episodes go together? I've tried to figure out an order and quit in disgust. Anyone have a personal order that is different from the "official" version? Is anyone else crazy enough to try?

I need a life.
