Now that, im my opinion, would be Amazing! I love Static as much as Batman.
Know any good Static fansites? :)

Yup. Batman will be indeed guest starring in the second season finale to STATIC SHOCK, but it will be the original Bruce Wayne Batman, not Terry McGinnis. Batman & Robin go to Dakota to track down Joker, who has gone their to enlist the aid of some Static villians. Batman & Robin end up teaming with Static.

That sounds great! Does anyone know if Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill will be doing the voices? I sure hope so, cause it's hard to imagine Batman without Conroy's voice these days, and it's the same with Mark Hamill. They're just too perfect!
See ya!

That's one episode I'll definitely be taping!

Conroy and Hamill will be back. WBA stated that no other people can possible replace Conory and Hamill ever on the series or even guest appearances.
does anybody know which day it will be airing?
James Harvey

It won't be airing until May 2002.

They just finished the storyboards on this episode, if that tells you how early this is. I wonder what kind of style Bats and Joker will be drawn in, since the Static universe would make the Timm designs stand out. But it'll be cool to see them again!

Whoa that sounds cool. I liked Static, it was an ok show. Batman and Robin guest starring should be great.

Does anybody know which Robin will be shown: Dick Grayson or Tim Drake?

I'm 90% sure it's Tim Drake. Correct me if I'm wrong..but I do believe it is Tim Drake..

To stay in continuity, it will be the TNBA Robin - Tim Drake.

That is the lamest thing I have ever heard!!!!! Batman is such a sell out. Static Shock?!?!? I wash my hands of Batman. I can't defend it anylonger. R they that despret to do a cross over that they will settle for static shock? what's next, Nightwing guest stars as the new drummer on Generation O?

I see nothing wrong with Batman & Robin having a cameo in STATIC. Sure the show isn't all that great, but I'm sure they can make something interesting out of it.

Hey, they kept Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill, didn't they? I'm willing to give it a shot, even though I'm not expecting too much.

Look I am the most anti static shock fan ever, but your looking at this all wrong. I think it's great there finally putting someone on the show that will tell static shock how much he sucks.

Granted STATIC isn't the best show around, but it is better than half the junk KWB airs. STATIC had two real good episodes last season that dealt with racism and the death of his mother. I think the Batman episode will be fine!

it'll be a good ep so long as they don't do something really stupid like make batman end up getting his ass saved by static shock..i really hate it when crossovers are done and weaken up a cool guest star like batman just to help out the main star of some new show..
James Harvey

I can definatly agree with you there. If Static end sup saving Batman I'll be dissapointed. I'd hate to see a Batman VS Joker climax scene sorta ruined by the Joker almost defeating Batman, and then having Static finishing off the Joker.

There doing it all wrong thogh instead of the joker they should have live wire guest star, that would be cool. Think about it, a battle between the sexes and electric power thingy
James Harvey
09-25-2001, 11:43 AM
But Livewire isn't a Batman villians, she's a Superman villian. I think ya gotta have The Joker when doing something like this. Then again - this thread should be over on the JL Board...

I think Mark Hammil is a sell out too. Ex: his frequent apperences on that tasteless show, SON OF THE BEACH. And all those B movies in the 80s. His career sux now. Sure, we think it's fun to do cartoon vioce overs. But he has fallen along way from the silver screen. Granted, his face was all messed up from his accident. He lost his boyish good looks. Going from movie star to doing voice work for a children's animated show is definately a step backward as far as careers go.
I can't believe what a great actor he was in Star Wars. I can't invision anyone else ever playing that role, and it's not just b/c I am used to him. People complain that he was too whiny, buy that is the way the character is written.
He's a really whiny young kid, and that is what gave his character depth. Everyone doesnt' start out as a hero. And I like how he was an ordinary guy who longed for excitement. That is why he was so quick to jump at the chance to save the galaxy. I would totatally do the same thing. If some one gave luke the Batsuit, he would take it. YoU'RE ACES WITH ME, LUKE!
happy B-day mark hammil

I feel villians are interchangeble but heroes arn't. I don't really care if live wire is a superman villian, you can't deny it would be a pretty cool fight, aspeacialy with there personalities.
James Harvey

Villians aren't easily interchangable. I don't know about you - but a fight between Batman and Joker would be better than a Batman/Livewire showdown.
GothamGirl
10-02-2001, 10:39 PM
I relise that, but I think you would agree that a live wire/static showdown would be more interesting than a Joker/static showdown.
James Harvey

Not sure. Livewire and Static do seem like it would be a neat conflict, but I never liked her character. The Joke ris just a better villian to use when doing a crossover.
