I got this link from a friend today, and I thought it was pretty funny:

Hey, now, that's something I can rally behind! I don't know how many AOL disks our family's gotten over the years. I mean, even my grandparents've gotten them, and they don't even have a computer.
Though on second thought, I'd probably keep the disks. From what I hear, they make great coasters (I bet you haven't heard that one before; gee, I'm so original  ).

Do you know why AOL is in such bad shape. Because they keep sending out those disk. I know that CD's are cheap, but after sending out 50 million of them, it looks like it would get expensive.

It is funny that someone actually set up a project like that. It is a worthy cause. :D

Until you have to install AOL on your computer and can't because you can't find an AOL disc.
That can't happen. In the history of the Internet, no one has ever been unable to find an AOL disc. It will never happen. It's a statistical impossibility.
If you live in the continental US, odds are there is an AOL disc within 10 feet of you.

Or a Freesbie. :p
I got tons of AOL disks floating around. It's like a cheap softwear store.
And it is phsyically impossable for the adverage American NOT to have an AOL disk!
A big pat on the back for that one, you're right Spike, it's certainly something that deserves a bit of back up. I must average one of those things every 10 or so days *grinds teeth* apparently you can make very retro space style clothes if you sew enough of them onto your swimsuits (Note I haven't tried it, honest)

I collect those Cd's :p . I have about 50 and 15 floppies from back in the day. My Computer teacher uses them to decorate his door and some on the wall I think he said he had a collection of 1000 or so last year.

My grandfather puts them to good use - he ties some of them to his fig tree and tomato plants in his garden. Apparently, the shiny reflection scares the you-know-what out of the birds ;)

And what are they SpikeJet, if I don't mind asking and all?

Spike Jet, I thought I have herd of a commercial on that site somewhere, and I know what you are talking about, I mean the more they put out those CD's the more Disks or plastic will be wasted, I just hope AOL does not find out about that site.
